How can i get a Jackalope hunting license from the Douglas, Wyoming chamber of commerce? Question: The town of Douglas in Wyoming is "famous" for the jackalope and I read a book that you can get a jackalope hunting license. I live in Florida, so how can i get a hunting lisence from Wyoming?
Answer:
They throw a pretty big party there once a year in the jackalope's honor. There's all kinds of neat activities there during that time. My friend was going to enter his truck in the mud bogging contest last year.
As far as the hunting license, you can get them really cheap up there in Douglas. They also usually come free when you buy a Jackalope shoulder mount. If you call the Douglas Chamber of Commerce to ask the details, I'm sure for just a few dollars they will send you a jackalope hunting license.
