There are 2.4% Asians currently in Middleton. You can find that info on www.census.gov. I don't know about the school districts, but that's something I would ask the people that live there.
I am currently live in Northern Illinois, so I am pretty sure the weather is almost the same. As far as snow goes, it seems to change every winter. Some winters it does not snow too bad, but last winter we had a few bad snow storms, up to 17 inches. I must warn you, if you are not used to the snow and cold, it might not be very pleasant the first few winters. You do get used it after awhile.

I recently read an article about the top 10 places to live in the USA. And Middleton Wisconsin was #1. Well I realized that a group of my friends and me are going to be takeing a trip to the Wisconsin Dells in a couple weeks. And we are going to be driving right past Middleton. So we decided to check out the best town in America. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who is either from or knows a lot about Middleton. O yea and if there is anyone from the town that reads this if you see a bunch of people wearing Middleton is #1 standing in front of the Welcome sign then you know that is me. Is there a giftshop in that town and do they sell Middleton is number 1 shirts or keychains cause we will probably buy like 37 of them. Well if anyone has any information just let me know.

I do. Middleton is really a suburb of Madison, which has made the list of best cities to raise a family in (#1 a few years ago). I have a close friend who is the State Farm agent in Middleton. It's really a great place, and a good location.
If you are in that area, on the way to the Dells, a couple of other stops you might want to consider are The Cave of the Mounds, and The House On The Rock. Also, take at least one of the boat trips at The Dells. The rock formations are only found one other place on earth, and it is pretty cool.
Not sure about the gift shops, but I wouldn't doubt someone will sell stuff like that.

Usually a salon/spa wont do drug testing unless it is a chain company and can actually afford to pay for all of the employees to have drug tests. I would just tell your friend to cross her fingers that her hair doesnt come out looking like Edward Scissorhands cut it.

Wisconsin Personnel partners entry law enforcement exam?

Has anyone taken the Wisconsin Personnel partners entry law enforcement exam? I am taking it as a part of the Middleton Police Department hiring process. I can't find any info or study guides for it. There website is not very helpful.
Answer:
It is not helpful for a reason. The test is going to be about your general knowledge, common sense, and application of what you learned in school, but only to the high school level. It will test you with scenarios and multiple choice questions.
Study up on grammar, and basic math including fractions. It will be long and sometimes boring. Bring a couple bottles of water and your ID.
BTW, your brain will feel like mush when you are finished.

The madison area is a very friendly area and you will not have problems, Middleton is a great place for all families, outside of the Madison and Milwaukee areas you may run into a small amount of racism, but if you do it will be because of a lack of exposure. No worries about the Madison area though! Welcome!!

It depends on how they ship it.
I'd say the day after they ship it, it should be about 3-5 business days. (mon-Fri) But it could be anywhere upwards to 2 weeks I'd say.
I bought one on the 14th (last Wed) and it came today. I dont remember what state it was from, but I know it was on the opposite side of the US.

Middleton, Wi has a population of about 15,000 not 1 million.
New Hampshire is a state not a city.
Claremont, what. The US is a huge country and there are many Claremont's in it.
Also, you just can't pick up and move to the US. You will need a "green card" at best, or a work VISA at least. Both are not that easy to get.

What's a surprisingly good beer?

There's a wheat ale called "Island Wheat", made by Capital Brewery of Middleton, Wisconsin. I normally HATE wheat ales and beers, but this stuff is pretty good.
I also find myself liking Sam Adam's Light. Tasty, for something I'd expect to be watered down.

Wasatch Apricot Hefeweizen. I didn't think I'd like it, but it was recommended so I tried it. It is mild and delicious.

I used to live in wisconsin now I live in georgia but I know you can get them on East Washington Ave. at the Tobacco store I forgot the name of it sorry but I know they carry them I have bought them before! MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ The Wisconsin board that oversees elections is fielding complaints that Republican presidential nominee John McCain's campaign is sending out a mailing that includes an application for an absentee ballot, but in some cases the address is wrong.
Democrat Beverly Jambois of Middleton got one of the fliers addressed to her husband Robert, a lawyer for the state Transportation Department.
They're registered to vote in Middleton, but the absentee ballot application was addressed to the Madison city clerk's office.
Jambois says it's been very upsetting to think someone wants to knock her off the rolls.
But state Republican Party executive director Mark Jefferson says there wasn't any intent to prevent people from voting. He says the applications were the result of incorrect information in databases used for the mailing.
Kyle Richmond of the Government Accountability Board says there have been 10 complaints in the past two days from those who got the McCain flier. The board's staff is investigating.
