    Brooklyn is 8 years old. Family is breaking up, she is a very good dog, protective of her family. If anyone in Illinois or lower Wisconsin is able to deal with a big dog, let me know. It is heartbreaking to have her move to a new home, but, I can not take her with me where I am going. Brooklyn has all of her shots and loves people, except ones she does not know. Easy to take care of, loves to play and is very healthy.

    We live right on the border of Illinois/Wisconsin near Gurnee Mills and Six Flags. We live in an unincorporated area with lots of open space. Have you found a home for Brooklyn?     There are many accents in this country of ours and I was wondering if anyone here finds the midwest accent wierd. Southerners are always getting bashed for their southern accent and people out east are ridiculed for their brooklyn accent, along with me being bashed for my Wisconsin accent! Even though I have a midwest accent (although I have a Wisconsin accent kinda) does anyone here find this accent wierd?

    im from wisconsin. i have come to the conclusion that american english is the superior english and wisconsin english is the superior american english jk. i cant stand a deep southern accent. to slow. but anyways, its a bubbler not a water fountain, and the way i say bag is the best. its fun to watch people when i go to other states pick out the state i am from based on my accent, it does get on my nerves sometimes however.

    Coming To America?

    My boyfriend and I are travelling to New York city, then onto Chicago and Wisconsin in October. I am looking for some ideas on nice places to visit while we are there. So far we have NY - Empire State Building Statue of Liberty Grand Central Station Staten Island Ferry American Museum of Natural History Central Park Ground Zero Times Square Brooklyn Bridge Nintendo World Store Tom’s Restaurant (love Seinfeld) Chicago - Chicago History Museum Sears Tower Chicago Botanic Garden Buckingham Fountain Wisconsin - do not know. It doesnt have to be touristy. ( we like to discover things ourselves) We also need our excercise so any good places to hike. Thank you.

    Go to the Art Institute of Chicago. Awesome. Wisconsin is more rural in nature but the roads are pretty good so you can drive around a lot. October is a beautiful time to visit! I don't know what you're interests are but it's fun to go to Green Bay to see Lambeau Field home of the Green Bay Packers, there are many places of historical interest all over the state. I would also suggest a visit to House on the Rock near Spring Green (should still be open though it's late in the season), head over to the Mississippi River to take the drive from Prairie du Chien to La Crosse, visit the Farmer's Market on the Square in Madison on an early Saturday morning--October will have the last of the crops in and it's a great place to experience fresh baked goods, jams, jellies, cookies, coffee, etc from hundreds of sellers. Also in Madison, touring the state capitol building is fun and there are museums of interest on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. State Street in downtown Madison has great eclectic shops (not the shopping mall kind) and restaurants too. You can also go have lunch on the terrace overlooking Lake Mendota at the Memorial Union on the campus. If you are there on a "football weekend", go over to Union South on Randall street on Saturday morning for a Badger Tailgate party before the football game. For hiking, maybe check out some of the state parks such as Devils Lake where there are huge boulders to climb and pretty bluffs to hike. Don't forget to take the marked rustic roads when you find them and if you pass a cheese factory, stop for some fresh cheese curds!     Because you do not even need a science degree to perform some of the tasks involved in studying the "physics of 911." You need web designers and account and other miscellaneous staff. You need non-PhD's to handle the computing and development the equipment/techniques for data acquisition. Also, a degree is just a piece of paper. It does not limit you to a particular field. Someone who studies biology can turn and study Physics.

    i was selling my xbox 360 on craigslist locally and i was contacted by a buyer from Brooklyn I'm from Staten island he asked me for my address to send me a check via fedex overnight when the check was sent i got an email from him stating that his secretary made a mistake and sent 2,000 instead of 320 when the check came it had 4,000 on it he told me to go to the bank and deduct the 320 and ship the rest to someone in Wisconsin through western union supposedly because he had a consignment with some agent i looked it up on google earth and the address i was suppose to ship the rest of the money was in the middle of nowhere just highway roads and grassy plains. the whole sum of the money is in my bank account being verfied the process takes 3-5 days i deposited the check a day ago when the process is complete someone from some shipping company has to pick up my xbox 360. should i cancel the whole thing since it might be fraud or what?
