West Virginia Speeding ticket?

I was riding a motorcycle in West Virginia, Charles Town. And a cop pulled me over because i was riding above the speed limit (49 on 25 mph).
My driver license is a Virginia State. Does anyone know if the point is transferable or not, since i'm from different state?
The cop said that i just need to pay the fine ($160) or i can come to the court to fight for it. But she said that the point is not transferable because i'm from different state. And she didn't mentioned that it's a reckless driving.
My concern is about getting less points out of my driving record. I don't care about paying $160 for the fee.
So if there's anyone know anything about similar case, please respond. Thanks in advance.

The DC Metro goes to Maryland and Virginia, nowhere close to New York City. You are probably thinking of the Amtrak.
If you are thinking of the MARC train (the Maryland Commuter train), you can catch that in either Duffields or Harpers Ferry. That will take you to Union Station in DC.
Here is the schedule for the Brunswick line, which runs only Monday to Friday. So it will not be operating on Sunday, New Year's Eve.

Your could catch the Amtrak train in Harpers Ferry. Amtrak has two options:
Both involve catching the 11:45 in Harpers Ferry, gets you into Union Station at 13:30.
There are trains to NYC at
3:25 p.m. arrives Penn Station at 6:45 p.m.
or 4:25 p.m... arrives at Penn Station at 7:43 p.m.
Same schedule for next Saturday as well -- will cost you around $200 roundtrip.
Suggest you catch the train into Union Station and catch the Greyhound up to New York. They have specials as cheap as $35 round trip -- check it out:

Why wont Northern VA make route 9 wider?

Eastern Panhandle is making WV Route 9 wider. Making it a 4 lane highway from Berkeley Springs, WV to the VA boarder. Since Northern VA will not approve the road, there will be a bottle neck once you get to VA.
Route 9 has been the subject of considerable debate. West Virginia is constructing a four-lane expressway by-pass of the current Route 9 - a winding two-lane rural road - to U.S. Route 340 in Charles Town. The expressway will end at Route 9 at the Virginia state line [1]. Upgrading Route 9 in Loudoun County is opposed by local groups that want to preserve the rural feel of Western Loudoun by limiting traffic and thereby also limiting growth.
Limiting traffic, it is more like control. Because the traffic is there. the road is maybe 20miles long on the VA side, which should take about 20mins. But in the mornings it could take about an hour on that road.
Everyone wants to live in WV due to cheaper living and they work in VA due to higher paying jobs.

Why should one state use their tax dollars to improve roads that will mainly help people from another state? Most of the people using the road to commute are not paying taxes in VA. You say yourself they want to live in WV because it is cheaper, but want to take advantage of higher pay in VA. VA taxpayers and voters do not gain from the road, so they will not pay to improve it!!
