This time, you may be glad to know that more taxpayers voted for the bond, an effort to save the community school.The issue has to have a sixty percent passing, and it had only a few hundred votes. - Attention I-79 Travelers
The two rest areas at MP 85 called "Burnsville", just north of the Burnsville exit of I-79, are both closed for major facility upgrades until sometime next year. For those traveling, especially at night, be advised that no public restrooms are available at either of the rest areas, or at Burnsville, off exit 79, from midnight till dawn. Both convenience stores in town are either closed or served by window only during the overnight hours. Some of us, who live in Burnsville, apologize for the inability to assist the many who need these facilities on their trek through our beautiful area of the Mountain State. The Editor
