    Answer:
Are you from Princeton, West Virginia. I gave a ride to guy from there once. He had hitched all the way from Myrtle Beach and got to South Hill, VA. What is West Virginia really like?
    Question:
Please only serious answers from residents or visitors. I'm interested in Charleston or Bluefield areas. I love the outdoors (camping, hiking, rafting, hotsprings) and would like to know if these are good places to visit/live.

    Answer:
It's a very rugged state, and has mountains and beautiful scenery. Some parts are very poor. If you're going to travel into those very rural areas and camp or fish or hunt......mind your manners and remember NO hilbilly or "sex with your sister" kind of jokes. Some (very few) bars can be rough.....do NOT mess with the locals. However, that being said.....I LOVE West Virginia! My experiences with the state are limited to the southern and southeastern areas. When you get off the highways, many areas have no lights on the roads.,...and there are no street signs at many intersections so getting lost can be easy sometimes. Go...have a great trip.....the people are usually friendly and down to earth and just enjoy yourself.

Paulownia trees in southern West Virginia!?
    Question:
Is anyone growing Paulownia trees in southern WV or VA? I've got 4 small tree-lings (one year+, about a foot high), with high hopes of giant trees and lots of flowers... Our weather here in the mountains (1/2 hour from Bluefield) is weird- late April.May killing frosts & snow, lots of rain, etc... Any help will be appreciated! If these work we might put in more to replace trees that were downed by the 2001 & 2002 floods. And if anyone's looking for a "test garden" for wildflowers, sunflowers, sculpture that kids can play on, etc., we've got the place - Landgraff, WV!

    Answer:
They do grow fast. I had one that got 8' tall in two years. I dug it out. They can be VERY weedy trees. A friend got many root sprouts from one she had. They are weeds in the local area. I'm in Southern California. I'm sure they would do well for you. Is it zone 8 in your area? The late frosts here are no problem for them. Perhaps something else would be just as good, like a Japanese pagoda tree or a mulberry? I just don't like the idea of planting invasive plants.

does anyone know of any volleyball camps ?
    Question:
near bluefield, west virginia. start after july 4th and end before august?

    Answer:
I would do a websearch on colleges in your area. Most schools that have a volleyball program will have a summer camp during that time. Also you could search under Nike, they have a bunch throughout the summer. Finally I would look at the USVBA. They may have links for other camps. Good luck and keep playing....it is a great sport and only gets better the more you know.
