    What are the cheapest/best places to stay at in Lake Chelan, Washington?

    I love Lake Chelan and want to go there for vacation this summer, but I'm going with a group of friends and we want some place cheap and near the parties (:

    Not gonna lie, its SUPER expensive these days. Cambells and Grandview (formerly known as Caravel) are pricey but FUN! and excellent locations; close to the main part of town and city beach but also have nice private swim areas of thier own. Best western is close but not really walking distance to town but also has its own public beach area w/ a dock thats fun. The cheapest place to stay is probably the Apple Inn, which is up the highway by the ever popular Apple Cup breakfast spot. It has a pool but is a 15 min walk or 3 min drive from the city beach. Wapato Pt Condos are also REALLY nice and fun, but way far from town. Camp at the state park! or city park! its the cheapest and is usually really fun if you have a boat or are w/ a good group of people. GOOD LUCK & have fun eat at lakeview drive in!

The roads in the city was sand. I get into a bar to get something to drink, and the man behind the bar told me they also use this city to make western movies. I want to visit this town again with my family but cant find it. I remember I drive from Seattle, Redmond to Lake Chelan, driving in the mountains, along rivers and also passing and drive over a big dam. The town was placed in a kind of dessert. The climate from the mountains and to the dessert change in 2 hours very much from cold to hot. Do anyone know what small city I am talking about ?? Sorry my english is not so good.

    There are several local water sporting businesses in all areas that will rent jet skis, kayaks, boats, etc. Some may have locations on the lake; but most (for a fee) will drop off the jet ski or allow you to tow it on the back of your truck/SUV. Since there are so many vendors, your best bet is to do a Yahoo or Google search on "jet ski rentals seattle" "jet ski rentals lake chelan" "jet ski rentals (input your Washington state destination)" and talk directly with these people/businesses that pop up.

    While I haven't camped up there I have driven up there several times and know there are camping spots, its a place called "Salmon La Sac" its where my grandparents ashes were spread, its just north of Roslyn (awesome town!). Its up in the mountains and really beautiful and I think they have cabins too. You should really look into it.

My overall question is, how do I connect with her and her friend? How do I get use to become good friends? I only have until tomorrow...I leave tomorrow at 1 pm. I get back on Tuesday.     If you were willing to head south, there are some nice places around Mt. St. Helen's, just outside of Cougar, WA. Three I have stayed at are Panther Creek, Beaver, and Paradise Creek. Here are the links. The final link is for campgrounds in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. If you click the link, on the right side of the page, it has campground information by district. Those are all east of Seattle, but I've never stayed at any of them. Good luck!
