    • City Description

    Centralia is a city in Lewis County, Washington, United States. The population was 14,742 at the 2000 census. In pioneer days, Centralia was the halfway stopover point for stagecoaches operating between the Columbia River and Seattle. In 1850, J. G. Cochran, coming from Missouri with a young African-American slave named George Washington, filed a donation land claim on the townsite. Later, Cochran freed his slave, adopted him as a son, and in 1852 sold him his claim for $6,000. The new owner built a home and filed a plat for the town of Centerville, offering lots for $10 each, with one lot free to buyers who built houses. Centralia was officially incorporated on February 3, 1886. In 1891, the population, over 1,000, found its mail confused with that of another Centerville in the state, and the name of the town was changed to Centralia. (Washington - A guide to the Evergreen State, WPA American Guide Series, Washington State Historical Society, 1941). The city was the site of the infamous Centralia Massacre in 1919.     My boyfriend's car was seized, along with $512.....?

    His charges were reduced to delivery and possession. We're in Washington State (Lewis county to be exact). They've seized his car and $512. $259 was out of my purse (which was in my closet) and the rest was in his pocket. We can prove where the money came from (mine was from the bank the day before and his was from sim mom to be given to me. All was for bills) and exactly what it was to go towards. Boyfriend has a spotless record and had to have a signature bail to release him. Other person involved has had trouble with the police here before (Centralia, WA) and signed himself out. They were caught on a controlled buy (done by someone thought of as a friend). I'm just looking for advice from anyone who might've been in a similar situation or an officer who could give me some good advice. Also, the bottom of the seizure papers (listing the money and the car) wasn't signed. The person delivering the papers was suppossed to list the day, time, and all that, but didn't. Thank you! It's for weed, and I'm not looking for sympathy. I'm looking for people who could possibly provide a little insight as to all of this. So please, no more rude answers.
