Where is a good fishing spot near blaine washington or birch bay washington?
    Question:
Going up for a short weekend get away and I want to do some fishing. I have tried searching on yahoo Blaine fishing or birch bay and nothing came up. I have found washingtonlakes.com website but I can not figure out which locations are the close to Blaine washington where we will be. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks,

    Answer:
In that area be careful of the seasons. They have closed Rockfishing and bottom fishing some what. There are many kelp beds in the area and I would go to one and fish the edges with a 3/4 ounce jig and large twistertail rubber worm. I have never had a kelp bed let me down yet. Also write the WDFW and they have been very good at getting back to me with specific questions. I was wanting to know about flounder and squid fishing and they gave me very good info. Usualy withing a couple days they would email me back. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Should Birch Bay become a city?
    Question:
I am writing an essay and would like opinions from people who spend time, or have spent time, in Birch Bay, Washington. Any ideas from both sides (it should become its own city, or it should not) would be wonderful. Would it just increase traffic and tourism? Would it be great for the local businesses? What do you think would be beneficial in the end? Thank you kindly in advance!

    Answer:
one of the things against it becoming a city it would than have to perform a lot of additional duties not done by the state and/or county and the area just does not have the tax base to support this extra funding!!!

Can I take some classes in Vancouver, being a US Citizen and without applying for a visa?
    Question:
I'll be moving to Birch Bay in Washington and I'm wondering whether I could just take some classes, not for credit or a degree, take a few select classes simply because I want to with no other benefit other then knowledge. Would this be possible, without applying for any sort of visa as I will still be living in Birch Bay, would just like to take a class in a college in Vancouver.

    Answer:
You will still have to get a Visa, but no application will be needed. Just make sure you have your passport, drive across the border, and the border guards will want to see some information such as proof of enrollment. Then they will grant you a student visa, or may grant you day passes each time you cross to go to class. It's not a big deal, and as long as you are a US citizen, it should be a very easy, no-hassle process.
