Where in/around Auburn, Washington, could I find good shopping stores for clothes?
    Question:
I'm tired of seeing plain old t-shirts. Give me something casual but stylish. NOT a conservative suit-type thing. Just a creative wardrobe. Really cool looking clothes with odd style. You know? Hahaha - oh, and I hate the GAP and Aborcrombie and Fitch crap.

    Answer:
Not much outside of the Auburn Mall. It really does suck to go clothes shopping in the area (I live in Renton.) I have had some luck at Ross. There is one in Kent (on the hill close to the roller rink) and one in Tukwilla, close to the mall. You can also try your luck with thrift stores.

is Auburn/Pacific Washington a suburb of Seattle or seperate Town?
    Question:
is it very different to Seattle? is there public transport to get to Seattle from Auburn/Pacific?

    Answer:
Both Auburn and Pacific are separate cities from Seattle. The City of Pacific is a small city located in South King County, 30 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles east of Tacoma. Auburn is a much larger city than Pacific with a population of about 40,000 people. Auburn is about 28 miles south of Seattle. The Sounder train makes a run from Seattle's King Street Station to the Auburn station. You can find the train schedule at http://www.soundtransit.org/x71.xml King County Metro also offers bus service into Seattle from Auburn. You can get more information on their website at: http://transit.metrokc.gov/tops/travops.html By car, you can get to Seattle from Auburn via the "Valley Freeway" which is State Route 167 or via Highway 18 to Interstate 5 North. Both highways are very congested in the morning and the evening during peak commute times. If you like shopping, Auburn is home to the Super Mall. It's one of the larger shopping malls in the area. You can get more information about the mall at: http://www.supermall.com/ If you like gambling, the Muckleshoot Casino is near Auburn. The Muckleshoot Tribe also operates the White River Ampitheatre which holds concerts with some of the top performers. Hope that helps! :-) Good luck!

Things to do in Auburn, Washington?
    Question:
I'm going to visit Auburn, Washington, soon and looking for things to do. I don't like to spend a lot of money on activites and do not have a car (so train/bus/cab would be my options). My sister has a car but she also has two babies so we are limited in the distance we are able to go. I love farmers' markets and fun outdoor activities, such as fairs, festivals, and nature walks. Any suggestions? Thank you, all, for the suggestion. I didn't realize Auburn was sooo boring! haha

    Answer:
Auburn is a suburb of Seattle. There is not a lot of things to do, however here are some ideas: Go to the Supermall. Most stores are outlets, so you can get some good deals. Go to Game Farm Park. It's a big park and a trail to walk. Or, go to Rogner park and walk the trail along the White River. Go to Emerald Downs (horse racing). Check what concerts are at the White River Amphitheater and take the shuttle up from the Supermall. Go to the Muckleshoot Casino or Bingo hall. See what's showing at the Auburn Ave Theater or at the PAC at Auburn High. Go to Federal Way to Dash Point State Park and walk on the beach, or go to West Hyblos park and walk through the wetlands. Go to Tacoma. There are several museums. Or go to Ruston Way and walk along the waterfront. Or go to Point Defiance Park. Hope these ideas help! There is not much bus service in Auburn, but the train to Seattle is great (except that it only runs at commute times).
