Amboy is located at 45°54′12″N, 122°27′56″W (45.903228, -122.465678).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 14.3 square miles (37.1 km²), of which, 14.3 square miles (37.1 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.14%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,085 people, 633 households, and 529 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 145.7 people per square mile (56.3/km²). There were 658 housing units at an average density of 46.0/sq mi (17.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.78% White, 0.43% African American, 1.25% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 0.77% from other races, and 1.29% from two or more races. I need to find a train route from South Amboy, NJ to Washington DC? Question: South Amboy is in central NJ.. right in the middle, all the way east--We're at the spot where the coast goes like this: "<." We're at the mouth of the Raritan Bay. My AP History class wants to go on a trip to Washington DC and I can't find a route.
Answer:
You can get the Amtrak to DC from New Brunswick, it's right near y'all. Now the train doesn't stop in New Brunswic that often do maybe Princeton Junction is better.
Don't go all the way up to Newark on NJ Transit just to come back down by Amtrak.
