Anyone have experience with Pauley's Pups in Ashland, Virginia? Question: My cousin is looking to buy a puppy and she wants to go to Pauley's Pups in Ashland, Virginia to make her purchase. She has researched and found that the owner only buys dogs from breeders that he personally meets and inspects (all in Virginia), but still doesn't know if this place is to be trusted.
She doesn't want to buy from a store and wind up financing a puppy mill. I have told her that I know Petland is a puppy mill supporter, but we can't find any concrete info on Pauley's Pups.
Please, if you have dealt with this store, or know someone who has, tell me the story so I can help her make an educated decision.
She is not planning on making a rash decision, and is looking at shelters too, but any info would be appreciated.
Answer:
DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM THERE!!! I live here in Richmond and can tell you they get all their puppies from puppy mills. The richmond aspca has been trying to get the place shut down for years. If the owner tells you he meets all the owners ask hi how many times he goes to missiouri and visits the puppy factory. This guy is a liar and a very cruel person to be selling and treating animals the way he does, an animals life and suffering shouldn't be for profit. Please few the link I added and feel free to do more research for yourself and you will find the same things everywhere.

What is the Ashland Berry Farm (usa, virginia) like? What are the costs and extra activities?
Answer:
I am assuming that you are referring to the Halloween activities. Ashland Berry Farm is an active farm that does some creative marketing.
The full pass costs $23 dollars. Individually, the hay ride "Booger Woods" costs $20, and the two walk through areas are $8 and $6. At one time, they were cash only so bring plenty of cash for your tickets.
I have always felt that the Haunted Hayrides were pretty standard. I enjoy them, but they are kind of the same as the others you can get to.
My suggestion? Go! Have fun!
Good luck!

looking for a church in ashland virginia named calvary pentecostal tabernacle, can you find the website? Question: This church is in a camp where many supernatural things occur. I have heard that they live by faith at the camp, strictly by donations and have been around for many years.I heard that missionarys are used to minister to people, and that they have services that come on the internet.
Answer:
Please please please I beg of you...........DON'T GO TO A PENTECOSTAL CHURCH!!!!!!!
Stay away from all those hyped up "supernatural" weirdo wacked out freaks. Trust me sister, I've been there for a decade. And the more they are into all this "supernatural" stuff, the worse they are. And you will get pressured from day one to tithe, give, give, give, go to all their meetings, go to church on Sundays multiple times for multiple services, serve and give all of your time to the "church".
Their "healings" and "miracles" are fake. Their "tongues" are fake. Their multitudes of "prophecies" and "words of knowledge" are fake. Their "visions" and "dreams" are fake.
I'm trying to help you so you don't get scammed. Take it from someone who's been to a whole heap of Pentecostal churches. And they are all the same. And by the time you've figured out what they are about, you will leave the Pentecostal church with little or no faith. I spoke to an Anglican minister once, and he told me that 2 things usually happen to Pentecostals (they have an extraordinary high turnover rate).
They either lose their faith completely or return to a traditional church. I can verify this. I spoke to a guy that left the Pentecostal church and became a Buddhist.
My advice. Go to a regular church.
P.S. I sent the "nasty" emails to the dude below because of his lies and arrogance. He sent me in turn an email ordering me not to come onto Yahoo answers anymore. Dude, I'm not in your church and don't have to "submit" to you buddy. The arrogance. Can you imagine what it was like in the Middle Ages when people like this ruled supreme when the Church had complete control.
I bet you and your kind wish for those days again buddy. It ain't gonna happen. No wonder you're pissed.
Oops. There's my "cussing" (lol) again.

Haunted evenings at Ashland Berry Farm? Question: Has anyone ever been to the haunted evenings at Ashland Berry farm [Virginia]?? Ive heard that its really scaryy, but i want some other oppinions :) Im going tonight, and my friend is really scared, so i need to know what to look out for :)
Answer:
It is a lot of fun, especially when you are in a group. Just pay attention to where people can hide at, and always look behind you.
Bring plenty of cash, as they do not take credit. I did not make it up there this year, but previously you could by one ticket that covers everything, or purchase just the tickets for the events you want. (Get the
"Scream Pass" for $23, it is worth it!) They also sell food on site, which is good.
We did not get there this year. We tried to go last night, but we were just running behind on time. Have fun!
Good luck!

Montana and horse riding places? Question: okso this is a bit of a long story....
My dad died two years ago but a few months before he dies he was seriously looking to buying a holiday home in Montana, so we could have somewhere to stay....anyway when he died that idea sort of went all out the window, until now, mum came in this morning and told us that she was thinking about looking a real estate in Montana. The thing is Dad knew Montana but we don't so what are some great country areas there, where there's great riding tracks and open space. We already have two QH in Virginia so we'll just get them moved up to a boarding barn near our holiday home (they are currently with friends just out of Ashland)...but if anyone knows of any great area in Montana, great for riding, let me know, thanks.
well don't everyone answer at once
Answer:
Well if you do get some land there, you better stop by here and say hi when you move your horses! I'll buy a cheap microwave at a rummage sale and we can play! lol
I'll look up some things tomorrow for you, it's bedtime here.
