    Answer:
    73. let x= the vertical drop of virginia falls, and we get: 2x+3=183, subtract 3 from both sides and you get 2x=180, divide both sides by 2 and you get x=90. 74. again, let x= the elevation of yellow knife and we can write the equation, 1/5x-3=38. add 3 to each side and you get 1/5x=41. Multiply each side by 5 and you get x=205. 75. again, let x equal the average wind speed of vancouver adn you can write the equation, 3x-28=20, add 28 to each side and you get 3x=48, divide each side by three and you get x=16

Second for the people who said I posted in wrong category, I meant this to target the seperation of Church and state. I personally think it is just plain "stupid" that people want us to say happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas, along with that one nation under God and in God we trust. Can't people just ignore it? Also I agree about the music part saying it's just entertainment. Yes, rap has cool beats but the messages are horrible. I wish that George Washington could come back for a day and would like to know his opinion on America.

    Answer:
In my 30 year law enforcement career I watched as the offenders charged with felonies went from the old Con's to the younger criminals. When I first became a Police Officer it was rare to make a traffic stop and be faced with an armed subject. Now it is an everyday occurrence. In my first ten years I would be surprised if I had to pull my gun more than ten times. In my last ten years it was almost everyday. When I was in school we would never think of disrespecting our teachers. If we did we were marched to the Principals office for swats and then we knew we would get it again when we got home from our fathers. It is the decline of morals that are part and particle of the secularist agenda to move us into Socialism. I am concerned for what we will leave to our children and grand children. The answer above mine is a good example of what is wrong. The teachers have control of our children for most of the day. Yes it is the parents responsibility and should be, but values need to be taught in schools also, and I don't mean for your teacher to tell you not to tell when she has sex with you.

    Answer:
We, in spite our of best efforts, cannot keep God out of anywhere... God is everywhere. Families are primarily responsible for teaching faith, hope, love and peace ... not schools. Where was God when those children died? Holding their hands and crying with them and all the parents over the hardness of our hearts toward one another .. all insisting that our God (or violence, or money,or...) is the RIGHT and ONLY way.

    Question:
East- portland, maine -montreal, quebec, canada -louisvlle, kentucky -newark, new jersey- charlotte, north carolina -hamptons -jacksonville, florida -montgomery, alabama -puerto rico- nashville, tennessee -memphis, tennessee -arlington, virginia-columbus, ohio- buffalo, new york -hartford, conneticut- orlando, florida- richmond, virginia- oklahoma city, oklahoma West- las vegas, nevada -new orleans, louisiana -portland, oregon -vancouver, bc, canada -san antonio, texas- el paso, texas- albequerque, new mexico- boise, idaho -salt lake city, utah -calgary, alberta, canada -tuscon, arizona -omaha, nebraska -wichita, kansas -honuloulu, hawaii-riverside, california -austin, texas

    Answer:
In the east it would be hard to say about Montreal (maybe getting back an "Expo" name?). Louisville would be cool (Call them the "Sluggers"). Personally I'd look at Memphis if any would be picked out of that line followed maybe by either Jacksonville or Charlotte. In the west it would be interesting to see a team up in Calgary so that would be my first choice followed perhaps by San Antonio. I couldn't see Boise getting one, Omaha has enough trouble getting anyone to go to AAA ballgames while Wichita I'd think would be too close to KC.

    mlb expansion, 2 plz?

    Answer:
maybe in twenty years they will add 2 more teams to the American league to make it a even 16 teams each but i would no hold my breath on that. most likely cities to get a team would be either Charlotte or OKC out of the "east", but it would be cool if they added San Juan. For the west, which you have way better chance to add teams it would be Las Vegas, NO, Portland, San Antonio or SLC. So out of my 8 cities I would say Charlotte or Las Vegas have the greatest chance of getting a team with San Antonio and SLC not to far behind. But out of those i think Las Vegas will have a team by 2015 most likely the Marlins if they don't get a new stadium.

In what should have been a minor point, the top rope broke at one point during the match. As an explanation, a story was sent to Pro Wrestling Illustrated about the rope break causing an "unfair working environment" for both teams, and hence the title reign was annulled. Answer:
i'm a sophomore so i think i can use simple words.. you should start with... "i have a dream".... those are the famous words spoken by one of the greatest civil rights activists to have ever lived. Not only has he segregated schools in the south, but he died for a cause that he deeply believed in. Then go into when he was born and his childhood Then when he was a preacher at a church And then get to the speech and all the details about him going to jail. Then to the part where he was killed for believing people should be equal Good luck on your paper

Dear God: Why didn't you save the school children at ?..... Sincerely, God ------------------------------ How did this get started?... ----------------- Let's see, I think it started when Madelie Murray O'hare complained she didn't want any prayer in our schools. And we said, OK. ------------------ Then, someone said you better not read the Bible in school, the Bible that says "thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbors as yourself," And we said, OK... ----------------- Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehaved because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem. And we said, an expert should know what he's talking about so we won't spank them anymore.. ------------------ Then someone said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave. And the school administrators said no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want any bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued. And we accepted their reasoning... ------------------ Then someone said, let's let our daughters have abortions if they want, and they won't even have to tell their parents. And we said, that's a grand idea... ------------------ Then some wise school board member said, since boys will be boys and they're going to do it anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want, so they can have all the fun they desire, and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school. And we said, that's another great idea... ------------------ Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. And we said, it doesn't matter what anybody, including the President, does in private as long as we have jobs and the economy is good.... ------------------ And someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of nude children and then stepped further still by making them available on the Internet. And we said, everyone's entitled to free speech.... ------------------ And the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence and illicit sex... And let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes... And we said, it's just entertainment and it has no adverse effect and nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead. ------------------ Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, classmates or even themselves. ------------------ Undoubtedly, if we thought about it long and hard enough, we could figure it out. I'm sure it has a great deal to do with... "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW,"

    Answer:
Thank you,it is all so true.God isn't allowed to be mentioned anywhere anymore it seems, but he is the first one to get blamed when something goes wrong.Americans don't want to stand and pledge allegiance to the flag because the word God is in there.Sad that the morals of this country have declined so badly.
