City Description

Cedar Fort is a town in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 341 at the 2000 census. Cedar Fort is located at 40°19′35″N 112°6′20″W / 40.32639°N 112.10556°W / 40.32639; -112.10556 (40.326300, -112.105613). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 341 people, 101 households, and 83 families residing in the town. The population density was 214.7 people per square mile (82.8/km²). There were 110 housing units at an average density of 69.3/sq mi (26.7/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 95.89% White, 0.59% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.29% Pacific Islander, 0.29% from other races, and 2.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.88% of the population. There were 101 households out of which 43.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.2% were married couples living together, 4.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.8% were non-families. 16.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.9% had someone living alone who
