What malls should i visit in dallas texas? Galleria, Valleyview, Northpark or Highland park? Question: Which is the best? Which is the second to best?
Answer:
I love shopping and I'd say Northpark is the best. The Galleria would take second place with me. It's a very nice place with a wonderful ice rink but a little too upscale for my budget. I do shop there occasionally however, not all the stores are out of my range. Valley View is no longer very good -- don't bother. If you venture into Plano, a suburb, go to
Willow Bend and if you go to another suburb near Plano called Frisco, go to Stonebriar Mall. Both nice. Have fun!

Can anyone tell me about Highland Park Townhomes in Kansas city Kansas, is it a nice area to live in? Question: can anyone tell me about Highland Park Townhomes in Kansas city,Kansas? We are relocating from Texas and was wondering about the area this property is located in, is it safe and nice part of town or is it a rough side of town? please any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Answer:
It is a mix of low income people who mostly are using section 8 vouchers to help pay the rent. Like all poor neighborhoods you have many good people living there and a few rotten apples like any other neighborhood in any big city. I would rather live there than a lot of other neighborhoods in KC.

Highland Park High School Dallas Texas
Answer:
Yah, I know how you feel. It's just that everything is so boring. What you might want to try to do, is to attack the school work the same way that you attack the sports. Try to "buy" into the concept that chemistry or English could be interesting. Find something in Chemistry that could be fun. Talk to your mentor about it and see if they can help.

I'm looking for a good place to live in the Dallas area...? Question: My husband and I want to move to North East Texas soon, and are looking for some advice regarding the best towns. We don't want to live IN Dallas--we want to be close to the city, but not TOO close. Does the cost of living vary much from town to town? We don't want to live in the ghetto but we're not Highland Park people either.
Answer:
There are some really nice suburbs on the northeast side of Dallas. Consider McKinney if you're looking for a small town feel with all the modern conveniences (restaurant chains, hospitals, good schools, shopping). Housing is more affordable in this area, too; new builders are developing the area, and a nice home runs significantly less than in other parts of the metroplex.
Good luck with your move! You're going to love it here!

How is my character development so far? Question: I have ideas for a chick lit novel blah blah blah just read it and tell me what you think, any suggestions, etc.
Alyssa Hauserman (protagonist)
25-year-old female, unhappily married
lives in Southlake, Texas, an affluent community
raised in Highland Park, an even more affluent community in the DFW metroplex
was a tennis champ in high school and college; graduated from Southern Methodist University
raised a conservative, Methodist Republican her entire life and her husband is the same way
doesn't uphold Christian beliefs at all; goes to church just to show off her clothes
biggest flaws: infidelity, despite her being perceived as a devout Christian, and alcoholism
has no children and does not plan on having any
works at a major marketing firm in Dallas
very superficial, catty, conniving, and manipulative; much like all of her neighbors she is a "Southlake Barbie"
although she has her own job, Olivia mooches considerably off of her husband, who is a very popular and
respected attorney in the community
reads Vogue like it's her Bible
is very bored with her husband
in the beginning of the novel, will be very bitchy, demanding, bossy, etc., but towards the middle her mind/heart/soul will be opened more and at the end she will be a completely different person
Likes: money, fashion, parties, drinking, shoes, shopping, gossiping, sex, cheating on her husband, getting what she wants, Vogue, and traveling
Dislikes: fat/ugly people, carbs, people who don't like her, the word "no", maxed-out credit cards, church, her husband, stupid/slow people
EngProf:
Excellent idea about the kindergarten thing! I like that a lot. And I forgot to add this.
She grew up very affluently. Her mother pressured her into marrying her husband (Mark). Olivia wanted her mother to stop pestering her, so she married him, etc. He is controlling and fakes being meek and feeble to keep the marriage going.
She is bitter because she was molested as a child, and to fill that void of childhood happiness and all of that, she is the way she is.
I would have to say, I'd take your advice over all of these others, since I'm guessing you are an English professor. Haha. If you want to email me your response to this go ahead: peanutbuttuhx3@yahoo.com
(stupid email I know, I've had it forever and ever)
Also I'm sorry for adding so many details but I changed her name to Olivia instead of Alyssa.
Answer:
Sounds like your pretty standard chick-lit cliched character... I'd give her something different to make her unique from other similar characters (perhaps not working at a marketing firm, since all the chick-lit books pretty much have marketing, publishing, or PR as their work settings). Perhaps have her work inappropriately at a swanky kindergarten for rich kids, or something like that... I also wonder: Is there anything redeeming about her? Why did her husband like her in the first place if he's so wonderful? That's what I want to know. Otherwise, she just sounds like a royal b*tch without any reason for being one. What motivates her to be this way? THAT's what I'd want to know.

Is this yet another reason the republican brand is all but dead? Question: Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott’s two year, $1.4 million dollar investigation into what he claims is “an epidemic of voter fraud in Texas” to justify his support for voter ID laws, resulted in just 26 cases. It will come as no surprise to anyone who has been following C&L’s ongoing coverage of this issue that all of the cases were “against Democrats, and almost all involving blacks or Hispanics.” What’s more, of the 26, only 8 were actually cases of fraud. “In 18 of the 26 cases, the voters were eligible, votes were properly cast and no vote was changed – but the people who collected the ballots for mailing were prosecuted,” yet Abbott refused to investigate a serious case of apparent ballot-box stuffing of “more than 100 ballots – potentially more than in all of Mr. Abbott’s other vote-fraud prosecutions combined” - “in Highland Park, one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the country with hundreds of million-dollar homes and where both George W. Bush and Dick Cheney once lived.“
In more than 2/3 of the cases in Greg Abbott’s epidemic, he actually charged volunteers who merely helped elderly and disabled people to be able to vote because they didn’t add their name to the envelope to show that they carried the sealed envelope to a mailbox for them - a crime Abbott saw fit to spend an average of more than $53,000 each to pursue of a Federal Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant that is supposed to go to enforce state and local laws with an “emphasis on violent crime and serious offenders.” Serious indeed.
Looking at our current Prez I'd say the life supoort should be removed and have an honorable burial for the party
In case you republicans don't get it America as a whole is tired of your manipulative BS and we're voting you out for a long time
Congratulations on screwing up so big you won't see power again in the next decade
Ri=uttster if you've EYEWITNIESSED why haven't you reported it why wasn't it prosecuted, Voter fraud is MINIMAL voter manipulation like Fla. and Ohio are REpublican hallmarks, get a freaking clue
Answer:
Good Riddens, and may they R.I.P.~!!!
or for that matter, let US LIVE IN PEACE~!!!
