Have you ever been to Andrews Texas?
    Question:
I am wondering because it is where I am from and people seem to have never heard of it. At my job we have to have our hometowns on our name tags and when people see it they are like...."Andrews, TX where the hell is that?" Or....."Is that like Andrews AFB?" It is a very small town in West Texas. Tell me if you've ever been and what you thought of it. Also how weird would it be if other people from there see this? Oh yeah and Buddies Steak Finger Headquarters is the BEST food in West Texas!!!

What Are Some Good Colleges In Northern Texas?
    Question:
i really want to go to college in northern texas (around andrews, texas preferably...but not limited to), but i have no idea where to even begin looking. i want to major in either equine, business, or agricultural business. i want to go to a college that is fairly easy to get into and i could possibly get a scholarship through DECA or FFA (because i live in minnesota so it will be even more expensive). please, help me. i have no idea what to do. Oh, plus I would really prefer if it was in/really close to a fairly small town. I'm going to be making a HUGE lifestyle change by moving from minnesota to texas, and i dont really want to have to get used to living in a city (i'm pretty sure that i couldnt).

    Answer:
I live in Northern Texas (D/FW), so I'm pretty familiar with the colleges in my neck of the woods. Also, I've never heard of North Texas State and I don't think such a university exists. There's a University of North Texas, but no North Texas State. The best three colleges in Texas are Rice U (Houston), U of Texas (Austin) and Texas A&M (College Station) and they're all located in the bottom half of Texas. The best colleges in the North Texas area would have to be Southern Methodist U (Dallas), Texas Christian U (Ft. Worth), U of Texas at Dallas (Richardson) and U of Dallas (Liberal Arts College). Other colleges in Texas to also consider: Trinity U (San Antonio), Southwestern U (LAC in Georgetown) and Texas Tech (Lubbock) Seeing as you want to live in a small town, A&M, Southwestern and Tech seem like your best bet.

WWII era bombs in west Texas?
    Question:
I was reading this: http://www.oaoa.com/news/bomb_18864___article.html/andrews_dispat cher.html I don't understand how we could have had a bomb here. Any ideas?

    Answer:
During WW!! the Army had about 20 air bases in Texas alone; several would have had bombing ranges nearby for training and proficiency purposes for various kinds of aircraft. Some are listed here: http://www.airforcebase.net/usaf/joeslist.html#1.%20Former %20Air%20Force%20bases%20in%20the%20US,%20Guam%20and%20Puerto%20R ico

Can anyone help me to look for my Dads family tree. Anything appreciated very much?
    Question:
Born in North Carolina, Andrews I think. Cherokee County I think. Birth name LeeRoyClark Born in 1932 or 1931 to Charles Edward Clark and Arte Robinson. Brothers and sisters all deceased last was EllaMae, Frances,Lloyd Clark. Was a Mason in La and possibly Eagle Pass Texas. Veteran USAF Lost touch of father was not definitely located until after death by his sister Frances Clark . Would like so much for my children and grandchildren to have knowledge of the paternal family they may never know. He has three living children and I don't know if either of them other than me use this.More blanks than facts I know but anything would be a start

    Answer:
More than likely one doesn't look for or find a family tree, one builds it by research & documentation. Finding one already made means that someone of (likely) your generation already did it and put it online for you to find. For starts, SSDI may have him: Lee Roy CLARK Birth Date: 25 May 1932 Death Date: 10 Apr 1998 State or Territory Where Number Was Issued: North Carolina ZIP Code: 78852 Localities: Eagle Pass, Maverick, Texas You already have the next step, his parents - those you can find on Census from 1930 on back. And then his grandparents &c. You can order his SS file and maybe a genealogy copy of his death certificate, and likely the same goes for his parents'. You may find obits, Eagle Pass isn't that big a place. It's a start.

Is this how it will end for Joe Paterno?
    Question:
Penn State vs. Florida. Penn State wins out and Florida wins out and the SEC Championship game and looks sexy doing it. Tebow looks unstoppable and the voters pick Florida over a one loss USC. Texas loses in Big 12 champ game for the second loss of the season. Everyone picks Florida to win in Florida for the big game and destroy another Big Ten Team for another title, But in story book ending Penn State shocks Florida 27-24. Rumors of a Erin Andrews sex tape with Tim Tebow seem to shake Tebow as he throws two interceptions. Erin Andrews keeps her job with ESPN cause she has such a cute face and interviews Joe Paterno at midfield after the game. Jo Pa says "This is how I wanted it to end ". Asks for a kiss from Andrews then drops dead on the 50 yard line. Andrews loses her job for not kissing Paterno. THE END! I just stared writing it, I was answering a question to who was gunna be in the title game then my creative writing skills popped up in my head.

    Answer:
Given that I'm convinced Paterno will die while coaching a football game, if he goes out like that it would be a good thing. P.S. - I want to make a sex tape with Suzy Kolber. Yeah, I said it, Suzy Kolber. If she's good enough for Broadway Joe, she's good enough for me.
