How much does a standard ovarian cancer treatment cost at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas? Question: just the chemo or the radiation if its given
Answer:
You can call or write them and ask. Here are their contact numbers. People come all the time from all over the world to be treated there.
There will be no standard price but they can probably give you a projected range of potential costs. If you are coming from outside the US and paying cash you would probably pay quite a bit less than someone living here and paying via health insurance. Our health care system is funny that way.

How much of a chance is there that Akansas LE Jamaal Anderson could be the number one pick in the next draft? Question: Jamaal Anderson- The best DE in the draft pool. He says he runs about a 4.8 40 and can weighs about 280. Exceptional speed for an exceptionally large DE. Led the SEC with 14 sacks, including 3 in their Capitol One Bowl loss against Wisconsin. They say that he should go around 4th, 5th, or 6th but I'm clinging to a hope that he could go first. Arkansas also has 2 other first round picks in Chris Houston, probably around the 15th-20th pick, and probably second corner taken behind Aaron Ross from Texas, and OL Tony Ugoh. I'm an Arkansas boy, can you feel that?
Answer:
there is a pretty good chance

Lowest priced liability insurance in Texas? Question: I need only the bare minimum required by law. Have had only one ticked in the last 5 years. Live in Anderson County.
Geico is a joke.
Answer:
Texas only requires $15,000 in property liability, which is a joke. A guy just totaled my $25,000 car with only $15,000 state-minimum coverage. His insurance paid the $15,000 but my insurance is going after the guy, personally, for the other $10,000. His wages will be garnished and assets seized. State minimum insurance = not real smart. He had SafeAuto, which I'm sure is real cheap.

Did Hillary Clinton's closing remarks in the Texas debates sound like John Edwards concession speech? Question: Hilllary closed tonight's debate with a bravo speech about "no matter what happens we'll be fine, we have family....it's whether the American people will be fine"... something like that. It brought the house down.
But Anderson Cooper just pointed out how similar this sounded to John Edwards' concession speech. (tisk tisk did she xerox that?)
Was this Hillary's concession?
Answer:
Yes. while accusing Barack of plagiarism, she herself did plagiarize.
1. TPM Reader CG found one example in this November 1992 article by Anna Quindlen ...
**Bill Clinton, 92: "The hits that I took in this election are nothing compared to the hits the
people of this state and this country have been taking for a long time."
**Hillary Clinton, tonight: "You know, the hits I’ve taken in life are nothing
compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country."
2. **Hillary Tonight:
You know, whatever happens, we're going to be fine. You know, we have strong
support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say
the same thing about the American people. And that's what this election should be about.
**Edwards the December 13 debate:
What's not at stake are any of us. All of us are going to be just fine no matter
what happens in this election. But what's at stake is whether America is going to be fine.

Do I need a car in houston? Student at UT-Houston HSC/MD Anderson? Question: I will be living in houston, university housing, I'll be attending md anderson for research and university of texas-houston health science center for courses. Do I need a car? How bad/good is Metro for the rail/bus? Is it dirty? I am somewhat particular, I don't want to deal with going on a bus/train everyday that smells like crap with homeless people everywhere. Also, and most importantly .... will I be able to live comfortably without a car? Shopping for groceries, goin to the store here and there... the usual. Mind you i'll be studying most of the time.
THANK YOU...the most detailed you can be with your answer the more i'll appreciate it.
Answer:
If you're living in University Housing, you can get by without a car. Housing has a shuttle that runs frequently to the school and various other stops in the medical center, so you would have no problem getting to UTH and MDACC.
The Metrorail and bus system serving the medical center is actually relatively clean. I've used a lot of public transportation in other cities, and Houston's is pretty clean.
As for groceries and what not, it's feasible to do this without a car. There is a Kroger's grocery store very close to Housing.
As for living comfortably without a car, only you can determine that. Where are you coming from? What are you used to? Houston is a huge city, and apart from school and the grocery store, if you want to go anywhere like the movies or out to dinner, you will likely want a car. That said, there are a ton of students at UTH, and if you make friends and want to do social activities with them, I'm sure you could get by without a car.
