Is it about time this came out? Some Jehovah's Witnesses want more than to leave Watchtowers ? Question: Towns where Alleged Jehovah's Witness Child molesters have been reported to silentlambs
Home
Listed by each state
If you would to add a new listing contact silentlambs at info@silentlambs.org
The list below is designed to alert you to a possible danger in your community. Over the course of the last four years silentlambs has been a repository of reports on alleged Jehovah's Witness child molesters. Victims have reported extensively on times, dates and places abuse occurred. We have wrestled with how to alert the public as well as members that may be in congregations where abusers have been reported.
We offer the following suggestions if you as a Jehovah's Witness are in a town/congregation where a report has been made.
Do not allow your children to be alone with anyone in the congregation.
Escort your children to the bathroom during meetings and make sure no else is with them when using facilities.
Never allow your children to be alone in the car with anyone while in field service.
Do not allow any member to study with your child alone.
Avoid camping trips in which children go as a group with one or two adults.
Avoid baby sitters that are adult males.
At a get together watch your children and keep them in sight at all times.
Ask elders directly if they know of any abusers in your congregation, use specific names and note their reaction. They will not tell you directly but indirectly you can often figure out who it is. If one elder is less cooperative talk to another till you find out enough information to know the facts.
Check the local sex offender list in your area, type in the name of every person in your congregation to see if any are listed.
Notice any male member of the congregation that does not have privileges such as microphone or other duties around the congregation, especially if for a long period of time. They can offer talks on the TMS or sermons Service Meeting but are not allowed to conduct meetings. (This is only in case of a confessed child molester)
Note any member of the congregation that has children with sever rebellion or emotional problems.
Do not allow your children to have sleepovers with anyone.
Note members that the elders avoid having around their children.
If you are a member of the public and your community is on the list take the following steps to protect your family.
If Jehovah's Witnesses call at your home never allow them in your home
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call at your home purchase a no trespassing sign and place it near your door. JW's are instructing to only respect "no trespassing" signs any other variation will be ignored.
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call you can also call the local number and ask to be placed on the "do not call" list. They will note your home and check about once a year to make sure you wish to remain on the list.
If you choose to study with Jehovah's Witnesses do so at a neutral location such as the local Kingdom Hall or in a public place.
Never allow your child to be alone with members or their children.
If you choose to attend meetings with Jehovah's Witnesses then we suggest you follow the guidelines above for members.
Remember that most members are not aware of who the molesters are in their congregation according to church policy. They do not know.
If two Jehovah's Witnesses call at your door one could be a child molester. According to church guidelines all confessed child molesters are required to have a partner when going door to door. If two Jehovah's Witnesses appear at your door you might wish to ask if one or both are child molesters for peace of mind. Of course keep in mind if the person is an accused child molester they are allowed to work alone in the door to door work.
We hope this information is helpful and assists with the ultimate goal of silentlambs, protecting children. Check back as the list is updated on a regular basis.

Why would this person characterize his self as a "lifelong Republican" with these credentials? Question: Meanwhile, former Joyce Foundation board member Barack Obama has secured yet another faux Second Amendment supporter in "lifelong Republican" Tony Dean, a long-time host of hunting and fishing television shows in South Dakota. Dean told the Dallas News he.s switching parties to head a Sportsmen for Obama group.
A "lifelong Republican" that is "switching parties to head a Sportsmen for Obama group"?
This is an interesting claim, given that Dean was mentioned by the Rapid City Journal in 2003 as a "possible Democratic candidate for Congress" who endorsed Democrat Senator Tim Johnson for reelection just a year earlier. Dean's efforts to draw gun owners to Johnson weren't enough, and Johnson's Republican challenger, John Thune, became a U.S. Senator from South Dakota. According to public records, Dean donated money to another anti-gun South Dakota Democrat, Tom Daschle, also in 2003.
For Tony Dean to have "switch[ed] parties to head a Sportsmen for Obama group" he would have to have done so at least two years before Obama was even elected to Senate, and five years prior to he announced his presidential bid. Indeed, it appears the word "lifelong" is as difficult for Dean and the Obama campaign to define as the word "is" is to Bill Clinton.
Dean is quoted by the Dallas News as saying he's "99 percent sure a President Obama isn't going to infringe on gun rights." But seeing as Mr. Dean, who at least one blogger has been dubbed 'South Dakota's Al Gore' because of his fervent belief in human-cause global warming, describes himself as a "moderate on the gun issue" who "opposes the NRA on most gun issues," his assurances about Obama aren't likely to be much consolation to pro-gun voters.
On his website, Dean has castigated the NRA for having "done little to protect gun ownership" and for having differing views on conservation issues, even while posting op-eds from the likes of Humane Society of the United States Executive Director Wayne Pacelle, who has been quoted as saying "we are going to use the ballot box and the democratic process to stop all hunting in the United States...We will take it species by species until all hunting is stopped in California. Then we will take it state by state."
Dean also wrote sympathetic comments of the New Orleans - Hurricane Katrina gun confiscation, saying "how do authorities know which gun owners (or looting thieves) were sniping at rescue workers; which gun owners were threatening others?"

I live in Kentucky and want to move around? Should I stay in KY or leave? Which state should I move to? Why? Question: States I'm considering -
-Top of my list: TEXAS!!!!, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, -Tennessee, New Mexico
-Not on the list but willing to consider: the Carolinas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington, Arizona
-I don't want to move to: the east coast north of Virginia Beach, Ohio, Florida, California
-Please consider the following: culture, weather, climate, natural beauty, cleanliness, jobs and economy, people, friendliness, hospitality, attractions, etc. Thanks!
-And seriously, my top pick is TX, preferably Galveston, Austin, San Antonio, or Fort Worth. I am willing to consider other cities, but Dallas County doesn't appeal to me very much (at least the cities proper of Dallas and Irving.)
BTW, Kentucky is OK, but several places there really suck, such as Louisville, Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, and (worst of all) Winchester. Eastern KY in general isn't too great. Murray, Cadiz, Mayfield are nice. There are better and worse places than KY.

I live in Kentucky and want to move around. Should I stay in KY or move? Which state should I move to? Why? Question: States I'm considering -
Top of my list: TEXAS!!!!, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, New Mexico
Not on the list but willing to consider: the Carolinas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington, Arizona
I don't want to move to: the east coast north of Virginia Beach, Ohio, Florida, California
Please consider the following: culture, weather, climate, natural beauty, cleanliness, jobs and economy, people, friendliness, hospitality, attractions, etc. Thanks!
And seriously, my top pick is Texas, preferably Galveston, Austin, San Antonio, or Fort Worth. I am willing to consider Houston, Hill Country, Tyler, Denton, Amarillo, Lubbock, and Corpus Christi. Dallas County doesn't appeal to me very much (at least the cities proper of Dallas and Irving.)
BTW, Kentucky is OK, but several places there really suck, such as Louisville, Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, and (worst of all) Winchester. Eastern KY in general isn't that great, either. There are better and worse places than here.
Answer:
I have lived in Kentucky most of my life, I moved to Ohio and then now live in Tennessee. My next move is planned to Colorado. I know that they have a variety of climates, which appeals to me, and that there are many small towns as well as bigger cities. That's about all the help I can be, I suppose. Best wishes

What are the best states in U.S. for...? Question: In ()s are my personal picks
1. Friendly and congenial people (Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Hawaii. Sorry, but "Southern hospitality" is becoming a thing of the past.)
2. Quality of life (Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma)
3. Natural beauty (any state along or west of the continental divide, South Dakota, Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia)
4. Clean environment (any western or midwestern state with fewer than 2,000,000 people, Texas is also very clean away from Houston and Dallas)
5. Beautiful people (California, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Florida)
6. Educated people (any west coast state, any east coast state from NC and up, Texas)
..., I'm sorry to hear you feel that way about Texans. But you're right: Parts of Dallas are oases for jerks in a state with otherwise (what I've found to be) very friendly folks.
Answer:
1)New York City
2)Long Island
3)Hawaii
4)Dallas
5)New York City
6)New York City
If you want clean oceans, hospitality, natural beauty, beautiful people try Europe
