City DescriptionWilson is a village in Belmont and Monroe counties in the US State of Ohio. It is part of the Wheeling, West Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 118 at the 2000 census.
Wilson is located at 39°51′45″N 81°4′15″W / 39.8625°N 81.07083°W / 39.8625; -81.07083 (39.862506, -81.070815).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), of which 0.4 square miles (1.1 km²) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) (12.50%) is water.
At the 2000 census, there were 118 people, 52 households and 39 families residing in the village. The population density was 282.6 per square mile (108.5/km²). There were 59 housing units at an average density of 141.3/sq mi (54.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.15% White, and 0.85% from two or more races.
There were 52 households of which 23.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.3% were married couples living together, 5.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.1% were non-families. 21.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
