Tuesday, August 11, 2009 Toledo, OH (WTVG) -- This morning, one neighborhood has UFO mania after this disturbing discovery. On the 400 block of Yondota, Shirley Hansard said she smelled something coming from under her front porch. She raked out a skull, of all things, and to some it appears to be unlike anything they've seen on earth. One young man was convinced it was an extra-terrestrial. His mom called the Zoo, the Humane Society and the police. It's created some water cooler talk in town but it's most likely an animal skull. Police called to the scene say it may be from an opossum. abclocal.go.com

A shootout often, but not necessarily, pits law enforcement against criminal elements; it could also involve two groups outside of law enforcement, such as rival gangs. A shootout in a military context (ie regularly constituted armed forces or even guerrilla or insurgent forces) would usually be considered a battle or firefight (depending on size), rather than a shootout. Shootouts are often portrayed in action films.
