As a regular I highly recommend the pork chop (not the first thing most people think to get but once you try it youll crave it - consider yourself warned!). The salads are also delicious - even the regular Shortys salad is big enough to be its own meal if you add a cup of soup and the complimentary corn bread muffins. All the wait staff is friendly but Tim is my favorite! The ONLY thing that Ive had that didnt impress me was the chicken salad plate - but everything else I highly recommend.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Andres I dont get there as often as Id like but when I do .. YUM ... soooo good. Dark cold a bunch of eclectic things everywhere its just a cool VERY little place. So .. what to get I have not even come close to trying everything but the fried bologna sandwich is awesome the roast beef is good and im going for the BLT in 2 weeks! So far as Soups go they are the BEST .. and Im a tough critic when it comes to soup as I often make my own. Their soup is absolutely amazing My current favorites are the Seafood Bisque (soooooo good and loaded with meat) the Cream of Mushroom (chocked full of BIG fresh mushrooms). Make sure to call ahead to find out what kinds of soup they have for the day as they change. ENJOY!!!

I have lived in Toledo all my life and never ate here. It really just looks like your run of the mill bar. BUT I was wrong. THEY HAVE THE BEST BURGERS IN TOLEDO!!! We love the Big Phils burger. They have hand cut fries that are out of this world!!! The wait staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

If you are in Toledo you must go to Schmuckers but only if you want down home family friendly good food inexpensive prices fast wait staff and the best pies outside grandmas house! Their burgers are to die for and the atmosphere is 1950s really! Not exactly heart healthy but who cares! Its good old fashioned home style food. And you can watch them cook it! They are fast!!! You can eat at the counter like they used to in the 50s or sit in a booth. Great. Love it.

Ermies is THE SPOT! Local bar serving mostly regulars but even if you are new there you are welcomed in by their regular patrons. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Great drink prices smoking patio outside pool table arachnid plastic dartboardgolden tee and plenty of good times. Dress is casual and comfortable but come as you are whatever your style is. I love this bar!

The majority of my visits I have enjoyed everything Ive ordered. Ive visited a time or two when things were mediocre at best. Dale the owner is a great guy who is always there to keep things running good. Overall I definitely recommend and besides its owned by a regular guy not some stinking corporate chain.
