We were delighted to see one of our favorite local chains Aladdins open in the Hudson area at the First and Main district. This location continues the tradition of yummy healthy Lebanese food in a modern relaxing atmosphere. Like most Aladdins this restaurant falls between a quick diner and a nicer restaurant in both price and quality. The Hudson location features a decent-sized dining room with an adjacent outdoor courtyard which is perfect for enjoying nice weather and good food. For a quick lunch the wraps are a great option with fresh ingredient choices and the larger entrees are a nice feature for dinner. The selection is large from traditional Lebanese and middle eastern food to more standard American choices - all well-prepared. We have been trying for a long time to replicate the secret spices in their delicious kafta. The deserts are decadent. The wine list is not huge but includes some interesting selections of Lebanese wine as well as traditional California labels. Our two biggest complaints are the service and the cleanliness of the dishes. Most of the servers that we have encountered here have been friendly but unreliable often disappearing for long lengths of time right when we need their service. We have also witnessed several times of apparent frustration between the management and the staff paired with a general air of confusion and unmet expectations. Although this type of difficulty occurs in many restaurants management should take caution that it isnt displayed to customers which brings a very unprofessional atmosphere to the restaurant. There also seems to be a lack of knowledge about the products and offerings although hopefully this will improve as the restaurant gets settled into the new location. On several different visits we have had dishes and glassware brought to us that have not been completely cleaned from lipstick on a wine glass to food remnants on a fork. This has happened enough times that it is obviously an ongoing problem. Aladdins needs to improve its dish-cleaning practices and have a better quality-control effort before items are brought out to new customers. All in all this is a perfect addition to the Hudson area perfect for anyone looking for a nice relaxing meal with healthy interesting menu options.

I found the menu confusing and it was expensive. What we got was good (Tiny but good). We found the service to be so-so. my empty water glass was ignored while my dates was refilled almost after every sip. I wont be going back.

Have to agree with T-Bone on this place. The margaritas are AMAZING with AT LEAST 8 different flavors from your traditional lime and strawberry to your more abstract flavors such as mango pineapple melon and blue moon. The owner Dale was at the location and did his part to visit each and every table and person that came in and left during his stay even offering suggestion on their new menu. Dont think there is anything over 12$ on the menu and everything is homemade down to the peanut butter pie for dessert. Again as T-Bone said do yourself a favor and stop by for lunch or dinner...if nothing else a margarita!

I visited not too long ago and it was the most impressive visit ive ever had at a resturant. The severs were all very helpful and happy to be with. The service was excellent! I had the french chicken sandwich. The price for the sandwich was very reasonable and the taste of it was off the wall! It was the best sandwich that i have had in years!!! I really enjoyed dinning with Hudsons and would do it everynight if i could.

Excellent food- nice atmosphere and the service was also pleasing! I have spent a good amount of time all over Thailand and the food is authentic. It definatly brought us back! Portions are worth the price. Gotta try it!

Daves Subs serves up a great sub. You have a choice of 20 great subs plus a few salads. The atmosphere is that of classic rock. There are signatures all over the walls from patrons to this great little sub shop. When I go there I usually get the Pizza Sub. It is tomato sauce cheese and herbs on crispy bread. If youre in Hudson for any reason during the lunch hour stop by. You wont be dissapointed.

It was a quiet evening with snow falling when I stopped in for dinner. The extensive wine list was pricey but even the less expensive selections were great. I had the best Filet Mignon ever. I also tried the corn marchugo - fantastic (I tried to duplicate the recipe for friends - hint marchugo is a cheese). If cost is no object or you are looking for a romantic setting you will enjoy the Vue.

the food is good but the staff is horribly rude. Once I made reservations with one staff member and was called back later in the day by a different person to tell me that the reservation was cancelled because there were not enough people in my party (there were 4 of us)!! Shouldnt the person who TOOK the reservation have known that?! On top of being rude when we have eaten there they were rude over the phone. ridiculous. Plus the drinks are BAD. The margaritas are WEAK (completely watered down with mixer). When I asked for a no mix rita they gave me a glass of lime juice. Not to mention there have been fruit flies FLOATING in my drinks on multiple occasions. If you ask for a drink other than a rita beer or wine the bartender will have NO CLUE how to make it and has no means to look anything up (common drinks like Bahama Mamas cosmos etc...) Ridiculous. I use to eat here frequently but definitely stopped going at all after a while. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but after many bad experiences it just is not worth the time.

They get really slammed at lunchtime and the atmosphere can be noisy but the soups and bread are really terrific! You can fax your order in to avoid standing in line.

Not as good as it used to be. Lately food has been so-so. They dont appear to be as busy as they used to....so apparently others are thinking the same thing. Service is quite variable as is the food. One evening the waitress kids where there and the kids were running screaming and jumping on tables. Really inappropriate. Havent been back since.

This restaurant is lousy. The service was pathetic & the waitresses and waiters were unprofessional from their attire to their attitudes. The food was okay - a bit pricey. Its a community restaurant; however the arrogance of the staff is ridiculous. They were all about rushing all over the place - when in reality Id rather them take their time and provide me service. The cooks are visibly seen as the kitchen is open...and quite frankly they look like slobs. I didnt enjoy hearing the staff YELL for each other when the food was ready - really? How tacky & noisy. I felt scrunched and irritated the entire time I was there. I literally prefer McDonalds...NEVER AGAIN.

My rating isnt about the quality of product at GLBC; its about being treated poorly as a customer. I went in for a cibatta bread. They were fresh and the shelf had about 10 loaves. I was asked if I could be helped and said I wanted a loaf. The girl told me she had to pull an order first and proceeded to take all the nice loaves into the back leaving small lesser loaves for me to choose from. WHen I asked if that was all I had to choose from she shook her head as if to say thats all you get buddy. Thats no way to treat a customer and I wont be back. It was rude to say the least.
