Answer:
forecasting that far out only has a 30% to 40% accuracy, however at this point it appears as if starting next week the eastern part of the US will enter into a much wetter period... therefor the chances of rain in your area will likely increase. Again, though, any forecast is to be taken with a grain of salt until it is with 3 days.

Therapeutic Massage near Hudson, Ohio? Question: Can anyone recommend a place near Hudson, Ohio for therapeutic massage? I'd like to get a gift certificate for my mom for a Swedish or deep tissue massage. A luxurious atmosphere would be nice, but the quality of the massage is more important. Please only answer if you have personal knowledge -- I can find lists of places offering massages, but I'm interested in people's personal recommendations based on their experiences at particular spas. Thanks so much!!

What do u think of hudson ohio? Question: My friend lives in hudson and is really wealthy-i'm going to visit her next week and was wondering what it was like...?
Answer:
Hudson is a historic small town between Cleveland and Akron reminiscent of a New England village. As the metropolitan regions grew outward and became more developed, Hudson became an upscale suburb. However, it still retains some of its small town charm and boasts its own small downtown with trendy shops and boutiques. A new development called First and Main in its downtown area mimics the historic section, and is a destination for people in the surrounding communities. http://www.firstandmainhudson.com/
The city of Hudson is one of the most desirable and affluent communities in the Cleveland-Akron Metropolitan region, although there are quite a few! Many high level professionals with jobs in Cleveland or Akron choose Hudson to live and raise families. Hudson is known for its excellent public schools, but is also home to the elite Western Reserve Academy boarding and day school.
Hudson is a very nice, but I wouldn't necessarily like living there for me at this time in my life. Maybe when I'm older with a family - if I could afford it - but I like living near the city (Cleveland) in an apartment with other singles in my neighborhood, lake and beaches, nightlife, and things going on all the time. Hudson is kind of away from everything in the city and on the lake.

How does snow that falls in the Hudson Bay region of Canada ends up being transported to southern Ohio during?
Answer:
The old professor says: I guess you mean during the ice ages. If so, then we can use the example that is going on right now in Antarctica. Snow piles up to great depths inland. The deeper snow takes on a "plastic-like" ice form. The overburden pressures of the covering snow and ice actually "squishes" the deeper plastic-like material out from under the ice cap. A model of this mechanism can be done by putting some peanut butter on a plate. Cover the peanut butter with a cookie. Press down on the cookie and see how the peanut butter moves outward....just like the ice moves southward from the ice cap. Today, scientists can recover meteorites that fell far from their recovery site because they were buried and transported by the deep ice to the Antarctic continent's edges before being exposed by ablation..
This type of continental ice motion is not to be confused with that of Alpine glacial motion where mountain slopes and gravity work together to move the ice.
