    Beaver is a village in Pike County, Ohio, United States. The population was 464 at the 2000 census. Beaver Eastern Pike serves as the local school district for surrounding areas. Beaver is served by the Eastern Branch of the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library. Beaver is located at 39°1′46″N 82°49′25″W / 39.02944°N 82.82361°W / 39.02944; -82.82361 (39.029574, -82.823742). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 464 people, 195 households, and 124 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,187.9 people per square mile (459.4/km²). There were 226 housing units at an average density of 578.6/sq mi (223.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.20% White, 0.65% Native American, 0.22% Asian, and 1.94% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.22% of the population.
