City DescriptionAmberley Village is a village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,425 at the 2000 census. Amberley Village was incorporated as a village on April 5, 1940. Amberley Village was designated a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Amberley is home to French Park, which is owned by the city of Cincinnati.
Amberley Village is located at 39°11′57″N 84°25′14″W / 39.19917°N 84.42056°W / 39.19917; -84.42056 (39.199259, -84.420601).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.5 square miles (9.0 km²), all of it land.
Amberley Village has approximately 26 miles of streets.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,425 people, 1,338 households, and 1,098 families residing in the village. The population density was 985.4 people per square mile (380.0/km²). There were 1,382 housing units at an average density of 397.6/sq mi (153.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 87.42% White, 8.85% African American, 0.09% Native American, 2.39% Asian, 0.32% from other races, and 0.93% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.53% of the population.
