    Question:
that wants to tell me what it's like? there is a big chance i will be moving there soon.it is a town named dickinson that we will be moving too. my husband my 11 month old baby and i. i know it is a small town. are people friendly to new commers?

    Answer:
I have lived in ND all my life. I have traveled around the USA, it is always good to get home. The people here are hard working, but friendly. Dickinson is one of the eight larger towns. The local economy is based on cattle, small grain farming and oil. Dickinson is near Teddy Roosevelt Natl. Park and the North Dakota Badlands - in its own way, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Will people be friendly to you, that depends. If you have a big city attitude and act like you think you or where you are from is some how better than the people around you, you will have a hard time. If you take people for who they are and try to get along, you will meet some off the most civilized people in the world. We do actually know about the rest of the world, - we just like what we have here, better.

    Anyone else from North Dakota?
    Question:
I am! I was born in Dickinson, but my home town is Bismarck, since we moved there when I was about 3 months old. I don't live there now, but I'm headed there for Christmas. YAY! That's great, Paul K! I am headed there tomorrow. See you at Kirkwood Mall!! (actually, I don't have any shopping left, but MERRY CHRISTMAS!)

    Answer:
I am from North Dakota, lived here all my life. In Bismarck today, there is no snow, 25 degrees, wind at 5 mph and big blue skys! It is really nice.
