Bridgeton is located at 35°7′21″N 77°1′17″W / 35.1225°N 77.02139°W / 35.1225; -77.02139 (35.122563, -77.021324).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 square miles (0.9 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 328 people, 156 households, and 95 families residing in the town. The population density was 920.7 people per square mile (351.8/km²). There were 211 housing units at an average density of 592.3/sq mi (226.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 95.73% White, 1.52% African American, 0.30% Asian, 0.61% from other races, and 1.83% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.91% of the population.
