    Bonnetsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sampson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 390 at the 2000 census. Bonnetsville is located at 34°59′28″N 78°24′8″W / 34.99111°N 78.40222°W / 34.99111; -78.40222 (34.991201, -78.402274). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km²).3.3 square miles (8.5 km²) of it is land and 0.31% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 390 people, 148 households, and 108 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 119.4 people per square mile (46.0/km²). There were 183 housing units at an average density of 56.0/sq mi (21.6/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 55.13% White, 34.87% African American, 1.03% Native American, 5.64% from other races, and 3.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.56% of the population. There were 148 households out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% were married couples living together, 14.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.0% were non-families. 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone
