is there a train going from halifax, nova scotia to black river, new york?

    Answer:
Halifax-Montréal train (the Ocean) The Ocean is a night train that runs six times a week (six times each way) between Montréal and Halifax. You will cover hundreds of kilometres while sleeping soundly and you'll wake up in a completely different part of Canada! In Montréal, you can take the Montréal-Ottawa or Montréal-Toronto train to visit Ontario. Two trains also leave Montréal for northern Québec: the Abitibi, which travels to La Tuque and Senneterre, and the Saguenay, bound for Jonquière. The many stations along the Montréal-Halifax route allow for easy connections. Most stations are in the downtown area and services are integrated with other transportation modes: car, plane, bus and ferry. From New Brunswick, you can easily reach Prince Edward Island. Ferries also ply between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. View a map and find out the addresses of the main stations on the Montréal-Halifax route.

when you go to orlando, definately visit universal studios, and island of adventure! its packed with exciting rides, the theme parks are beautiful, and you get to see the cat in the hat and the grinch and other cartoon favourites. also go to disneylands water parks, like blizzard beach, its so much fun. like indoor skiing. MGM studios is a great place to go aswell if you like thrill rides. you have the aerosmith ride, takes you frome 0 to 60 in 2 seconds while listening to their best songs. and definately try tower of terror, its an elevator which rises and drops. try go -carting aswell if you havent already, they have this mini fun park, where there are 4 tracks of go-karting, loads family fun with that, especially if you dont have any experience driving. you could also try busch gardens, like a safari theme park.if you decide to go to universal studios you can buy flex tickets which gives you access to 4-5 theme parks unlimited for 14 days. theres also mini-golf with live gators lurking around. as for flights try jetblue, they seem to be quite cheap and really pleasant flight with extra legroom than most other airlines. hope this helps you!!

    Question:
The Great Sacandaga Lake (formerly the Sacandaga Reservoir) is a large lake situated in the Adirondack Park in northern New York in the United States. The lake has a surface area of about 41.7 square miles (108 km²) at capacity, and the length is about 29 miles (47 km). The word Sacandaga means "Land of the Waving Grass" in the local native language. The lake is located in the northern parts of Fulton County and Saratoga County near the south border of the Adirondack Park. The broader, south end of the lake is northeast of the City of Johnstown and the City of Gloversville. Like many of the other lakes in the Adirondack region of northern New York, Great Sacandaga Lake is a reservoir. The original lake was greatly enlarged by a dam on the Sacandaga River at the northeast end of the lake. The primary purpose for the creation of the reservoir was to control flooding on the Hudson River and the Sacandaga River. Damming the Sacandaga River had been proposed repeatedly over the late 19th century. Only after several large floods impacted downstream communities, such as the city of Albany, was there a serious and concerted effort by the state to explore flood control. A public benefit corporation was established to study the feasibility of the dam and later adopted a resolution proposing the dam in 1924. The dam was constructed by 1930 at Conklinville in the Town of Day. Land speculation flourished as the plan to control the river and flood a large expanse of land leaked out. Many people chose to remove houses and buildings to new sites outside of the flood zone. Anything left behind as the dam neared completion was burned. However some structures remained standing as well as railroad with an abandoned aging train (now at the bottom of the lake).[citation needed] The new body of water was called a reservoir for many years, but after the middle of the 20th Century, the term "lake" became preferred. The reservoir is managed by the Hudson River Black River Regulating District. Although the lake and some lands surrounding it are owned by New York State, no public money is used to manage the reservoir. Approximately 70% of the District's revenues come from lease agreements with electrical power companies who run the hydroelectric turbines in the dam. The land was filled with graves of MUSLIMS! The Land was filled with graves of Christians The Land was filled with graves of Jews The Land was filled with graves of Indian believers The LAND WAS, NOW GO LOOK! http://www.sacandaga.net/ Where you going to Flordia Again, theres a storm coming! Al hamdoullah! Oh I am looking for answers? LOL thats halaroius! I have My Quran it gave me Allah and he is best for me! This is all for you! To all everything returns and is created. Everything belongs to Allah oh ignorant one! He is Absolute! Not me of course! You better go ask them. The more ignorant you become the more I will give names and places. I started here. Do what you like, I have no fear of anyone! But Allah and the torment of the fire!

    Answer:
I'm sorry, but that lake is right in my backyard - and I'm as familiar with the history of that body of water as anyone - and your claim that the flooded land was "full of Muslim graves" is simply not true. There may have been as many as five -but that's not "full of" by any means. BTW - what was your question?

What are we going to do, to save this planet?
    Question:
READ THIS!! Four of the world's most polluted spots are in the former Soviet Union. WASHINGTON, October 24, 2006 (RFE/RL) -- Three cities in Russia, one in Kyrgyzstan, and Chornobyl in Ukraine are listed among the 10 most polluted places in the world in a report released last week by the New York-based Blacksmith Institute last week. Richard Fuller, director of the Blacksmith Institute, says that Norilsk, a large city in northern Siberia, has "almost no pollution controls" and that "even 10 or 15 miles away from the city" the landscape has been turned into "an absolute barren moonscape, with no trees." "There are places -- open water areas and open lagoons -- that you cannot go close to without your eyes burning." The trees have been cut down to feed the furnaces of the city's nickel production facilities, the largest in the world. At times, the snow in Norilsk is black, and the air tastes of sulfur. But the damage is not just to the environment: The life expectancy rate among workers in the nickel factories is the lowest in Russia. According to Fuller, official reports say it is 42 years of age for men but others say 37 years old is a more accurate figure. Dzerzhinsk, in the Volga region of Russia, is just as polluted. However, the culprits here are not metal producers but old chemical-weapons plants. "This is a place where anecdotally doctors talk about birth defect rates in excess of 70 percent," says Fuller. "There are places -- open water areas and open lagoons -- that you cannot go close to without your eyes burning." The health problems in the Kyrgyz town of Mailuu-Suu are also profound. The town is built around the waste from a former Soviet uranium plant, a fact reflected in cancer rates that, according to Fuller, are twice the national average. With a population of some 23,000 people, Mailuu-Suu is far smaller than either Norilsk or Dzerzhinsk. However, the uranium waste that is blighting the health of its population is also a danger to a far larger number of people. Mailuu-Suu lies in an earthquake zone, Fuller says, and there is a danger that the uranium waste will run the river "and, from there, downstream into a highly populated valley in Kyrgyzstan that is home to around 2.5 million people." Other places included in the list are in China, India, Peru, Zambia, and the Dominican Republic. In all 10 locations, pollution levels exceed all local and international standards for toxic substances. The list is not exhaustive, and Blacksmith Institute researchers say that they are many other cities in the world that could have easily made the list, particularly in Russia, China, and India.

Did you ever read the Global Cooling article?
    Question:
Did you ever read the Global Cooling article? The Cooling World (Blast From The Past Archived Newsweek Article Warning About "Global Cooling") Newsweek ^ | April 28, 1975 Posted on 10/02/2003 10:21:17 AM PDT by presidio9 There are ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production– with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now. The regions destined to feel its impact are the great wheat-producing lands of Canada and the U.S.S.R. in the North, along with a number of marginally self-sufficient tropical areas – parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina and Indonesia – where the growing season is dependent upon the rains brought by the monsoon. The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it. In England, farmers have seen their growing season decline by about two weeks since 1950, with a resultant overall loss in grain production estimated at up to 100,000 tons annually. During the same time, the average temperature around the equator has risen by a fraction of a degree – a fraction that in some areas can mean drought and desolation. Last April, in the most devastating outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded, 148 twisters killed more than 300 people and caused half a billion dollars' worth of damage in 13 U.S. states. To scientists, these seemingly disparate incidents represent the advance signs of fundamental changes in the world's weather. Meteorologists disagree about the cause and extent of the trend, as well as over its specific impact on local weather conditions. But they are almost unanimous in the view that the trend will reduce agricultural productivity for the rest of the century. If the climatic change is as profound as some of the pessimists fear, the resulting famines could be catastrophic. “A major climatic change would force economic and social adjustments on a worldwide scale,” warns a recent report by the National Academy of Sciences, “because the global patterns of food production and population that have evolved are implicitly dependent on the climate of the present century.” A survey completed last year by Dr. Murray Mitchell of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reveals a drop of half a degree in average ground temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere between 1945 and 1968. According to George Kukla of Columbia University, satellite photos indicated a sudden, large increase in Northern Hemisphere snow cover in the winter of 1971-72. And a study released last month by two NOAA scientists notes that the amount of sunshine reaching the ground in the continental U.S. diminished by 1.3% between 1964 and 1972. To the layman, the relatively small changes in temperature and sunshine can be highly misleading. Reid Bryson of the University of Wisconsin points out that the Earth’s average temperature during the great Ice Ages was only about seven degrees lower than during its warmest eras – and that the present decline has taken the planet about a sixth of the way toward the Ice Age average. Others regard the cooling as a reversion to the “little ice age” conditions that brought bitter winters to much of Europe and northern America between 1600 and 1900 – years when the Thames used to freeze so solidly that Londoners roasted oxen on the ice and when iceboats sailed the Hudson River almost as far south as New York City. Just what causes the onset of major and minor ice ages remains a mystery. “Our knowledge of the mechanisms of climatic change is at least as fragmentary as our data,” concedes the National Academy of Sciences report. “Not only are the basic scientific questions largely unanswered, but in many cases we do not yet know enough to pose the key questions.” Meteorologists think that they can forecast the short-term results of the return to the norm of the last century. They begin by noting the slight drop in overall temperature that produces large numbers of pressure centers in the upper atmosphere. These break up the smooth flow of westerly winds over temperate areas. The stagnant air produced in this way causes an increase in extremes of local weather such as droughts, floods, extended dry spells, long freezes, delayed monsoons and even local temperature increases – all of which have a direct impact on food supplies. “The world’s food-producing system,” warns Dr. James D. McQuigg of NOAA’s Center for Climatic and Environmental Assessment, “is much more sensitive to the weather variable than it was even five years ago.” Furthermore, the growth of world population and creation of new national boundaries make it impossible for starving peoples to migrate from their devastated fields, as they did during past famines. Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.

What is the relationship between 911 and Saddam?

    Answer:
I think Hillery Clinton summarized Saddam's relationship with 9/11 best .. In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002 As a sanctuary and an aid to al qaeda the threat of WMD including nuclear possibilities made him an important target for the well being of the US and the world. Afghanistan alone is not a threat , it did not have the capabilities of Iraq which is why both areas became targets..

Is this Essay good. Found it on the Internet.?
    Question:
The life of one person is a precious pearl of wisdom, passion, love, and guidens which allows us to seek the truth, and refuge of everyday life. The novels “The Black Echo” and “By The Cold River” display the hardship and struggles of abiding by the rules of everyday life which concurs to the beliefs of the criminal life; which eventually leads to a death of an individual. “The Black Echo” presents the rise and fall of an individual in the criminal life more effectively than “By The Cold River”, and is a much greater example of one’s struggle to determine their identity in constant masses of mental suffering which can be seen through the stages of mental and physical suffering, the evolution and the destruction of a characters beliefs through his unimaginable mindset. The justification of beliefs through the process of mind vision alone is tempting to the fact that uncharitable and unreliable credibility can be mounted and brought up to one’s judgment. In the case of Harry Bosch in the novel “The Black Echo”, Bosch deals with a lot of secondary distractions which lead to an excess of uncanny decisions that ultimately leads to his failure as a lone just detective with moral rights. “You mean the window? I’m not here about that.” This quote exemplifies the distress Harry is feeling during the time of his best friend’s death; he can t seem to cope with the loss and is suffering mentally due to seeing the world surrounding him one dimensionally instead of praising the surroundings with open arms. The hardship of having to deal with emotional and mental struggles each and every single day is tedious and harmful to your mental and physical being in every shape and form. From day one the self conceived “Tunnel Rat” Harry Bosch was alone, isolated, and bridged from the rest of society. The belief to air out suggestions and dismantle ongoing connections from his surroundings, has succumbed and strained Bosch to a minimum, with only a few shreds of belongings to his aid. The mindset of philosophical vision can be attributed to such techniques exhibited by Bosch during his outcry, do discover the mysterious death of long time “Tunnel Rat” friend Ralph Cupperd, only to slowly become more devious and hateful to others during his long quest of hardship and delight for others. Stages of mental suffering can vary on the strength of one’s being or self, Harry Bosch manages to deal with his suffering with anger, full throttle, and revenge of others on a prominent case he feels needed to bring himself back to life. The dilemma of a person is an eventful stage in life without sole purpose to one’s sacred being as presented by the setting of the novel, which takes place on the outskirts of New York City. The general idea of post-cold war New York with a delusional and misunderstood Harry Bosch have led him to believe that he is just an illusion of his afterthoughts, or a product of nothing but a set of cold ashes on the floor. The evolution of Harry Bosch’s Character from a smear savvy being to a heartless, vengeful, and fearless being has made him realize the understanding of the setting around him in order to graze and relish the time of luck and charm against tough love, and hard chances on the streets of New York. The high risk of understanding what needs to be done can elude one from the promising challenges in life as attributed to Mr.Bosch’s sense of knowledge and understanding through the struggles of others. “As preposterous as I may look and sound I am the legacy of the department”. Bosch is constantly referring to himself as a generally stable person, and the only hope for the LAPD to solve the crime mystery of his late “Tunnel Rat” friend Ralph Cupperd. It is indeed noted in this passage that Bosch is struggling and going through two stages of mental suffering, he is going through internal/external suffering on the basis of Ralph and himself. In order to pursue a solid goal one must struggle to achieve it; in the case of Harry Bosch that task has been succumbed but, incomplete in the challenge of surfacing a prime case against his usual suspects. Bosch is indeed a mystery of illusions that will only be solved with a few cracks, and twirls in the direction and path of salvation even if it means jumping the gun and hording his own life for the sake of the others in his life. To master a plan one must study, elaborate, and set a goal for it as done by detective Harry Bosch. A parallel of commodities can be justified with a choice of power given to one special person on a basis of a mutual agreement. The construction of a suggested basis agreement can be stacked, and destroyed, dependant on the outcome of the heralded situation through long periods of time. The novel “By The Cold River” by Henry Perkins provides key situations where a character endures extreme limits of both physical and mental suffering as especially attributed to Joey Padilla a young sailor. The climatic point in the novel allows us to view the struggles of Joey, but allow us to observe the rise and fall of Joey Padilla. The identity of a person is crucial in identifying their general philosophical views of their surroundings, and their personal beings. The outcry of success or failure is surfaced by the gesture of completion or incompletion, as indicated by Mr. Padilla's movements through the novel. The attempt to save his own life through others has led Mr. Padilla to absorb fruitful, and sorrow reaction from the patriotic nearby towns people in Leigh Port. It’s the sense of dignity but more so pride that causes the downfall of a central character in the midst of moving up the ladder towards the ultimate goal of achieving strength, will, and freedom. The pride of Joey Padila was his sense of greatness, kindness, and, leadership to others. It is the sense of joy to conquer, to set sail or foot on something of value worth greatness in order to feel the anxiety and urge of knowing the moment of truth within or within the value of life itself. “By The Cold River” within itself presents a classic tale of moral values between many righteous people, and their wrong doings of guilt, shame, and, redemption. It is clearly evident that Joey Padilla views his surroundings rather vividly then the reader by attempting to pursued nearby towns people to respect one another, and help release Puddy the local shopkeeper whom is on the road towards exile. The wishes of our hearts, minds, and soul are just a facet of the mind towards the never ending cycle of life which is mind, and self control over one’s being. Discovering a true passion for life is difficult in making equivalent decisions, and hard sought goals to pattern out. The height at which Puddy takes is risky, but comes with a high reward in knowing the sense of joy in completing a task in a troublesome life which has cost him his past with some effect on his future. Mr. Puddy deals with the struggle of the unknown crime, the heinous deed that he was wrongfully framed for absoloutely no cause of fear, “It is I whom must fulfill the requirements of the jury, and move on with their selection” (page 79). Tony Puddy ensures the townspeople, and his lawyers that the truth will most likely be vanquished within the eyes of the ruthless human being who has kept quiet during the whole ordeal, but demands his supporters to move on with their lives in order to live and forget about the past. It is highly ironic to note that the Padilla confession to Mr. Puddy on page 112 is greatly significant in determining the fate of Mr. Puddy on death row; it is the wishful confession of hurtful rumours that has contained Mr. Puddy to become isolated from the rest of society along with his unimaginable mind knowledge which has unfortunately let him down during the times of his trial. The criminal life can lead to serious distress, and loss of words to one’s self, it can also have a much harmful effect to one person’s identity, causing one to pursue a new identity under a new name. The reality can be surprising, truthful, but effective in a hurtful way. It is well known that Mr. Puddy is a drunken alcoholic in a sadistic virtue, but he is seemingly a character with great prosper, and acquainted knowledge of his surroundings which include the towns people of Leigh Port. It was a crucial decision for Joey Padilla to make; the decision of whether to talk to Tony Puddy again or not, or whether to leave Minnesota forever. Indeed Joey acknowledged his own decision, and set off to Vancouver for a stay which could possibly last for millions. “You must go now, take your belongings, and leave I shall not have any part in this anymore” (page 176). Tony Puddy once again persuades Mr. Padilla and his associates to leave Minnesota to catch a flight to Vancouver, which will save him from the chances of exile, and punishment if convicted guilty during the resurrection ceremony of Mr.Puddy himself. Whether it is Joey Padilla, Tony Puddy, or even Doctor Howry, the opportunity of discovering a self –identity is priceless. Without your identity it is quite difficult to succeed in life, but with a certified identity, and a solid background the future is bright, clear, and very shiny. The comparison between two greater sets of characters is quite understandable in the achievements made during their lifetimes. In the novel “The Black Echo”, Harry Bosch is an undervalued type one homicide detective with little or no understanding of his surroundings, which indicates his isolation in greater parts of society. In complete polar similarities Tony Puddy is a drunken alcoholic with little or no room for extra mistakes, which have led him to become a popular symbol amongst the town’s people of both Leigh Port, and Bryland as he faces exile in his own part of the county. The provocative views of nature along with society has greatly affected both Joey Padilla, and Harry Bosch in an uncanny matter. Harry Bosch is similar to a glowing fire on a candle, just when it looks like it will burn out it stays in tact with the melting candle. During his background check for the usual suspects, Harry blurted out a very hard nosed statement about his local people, “ If you hate me that is one thing, but if you hate what I am doing for the sake of this city then thats another”. It is very clear that Harry is a man on a mission to make New York city a better place to live, and eliminate all drug-related gangs from the streets of the city. Whether it is a goal or not Harry's dream of living a good life shall not be forgotten as it is a need he must fulfil if he must deteriate the crime that sent his fellow “tunnel rat” Ralph Cupperd to death. The case of both Harry, and Joey is quite similar; two men coming from two different backgrounds, but with the same objective of trying to free themselves from the rut they got themselves in. In the perspective of Harry Bosch it is more personal, and theoretical then normal, as he has just lost a close friend, and everday mate he can share his troubles with, while Joey Padilla is more of the accused criminal of the public outcry. This may not be a technical fairytale type tragedy, but this is an elusive figure of what can occur, when a person fights fire with fire, only to later figure out that water must be used. The identity of one person is so precious it is like a box of temptations filled with the most glorifying, and resounding colours within them. Without an identity one may not have the pride, and the sense of knowledge to move forward, and strive for the greatest achievement. The struggle attributed to an identity search is more grueling then a scavanger hunt with extra wheels on track due in part, to its safety policy, and security checks. The foundation of life is a realm of knowledge capable of educating the mind with surreal images of our surroundings which can be linked to the understanding of a person's innerself, and moral being. It is not the case of a lost identity, but a case of hardship, and struggle of discovering the meaning of life. The icing on the cake may already have been added without notice, but a true identity always comes with notice.

    Answer:
I am sorry but I can not agree with the justice of parallel with whoever wrote this. The identity of one human soul is, absoulutely, precious and glorifying, but I can not say I am of correspondance in anybody who can similarly agree the author of this essay. The voice is extremely instansome, and although his/her point is made, it is not supported well, in my opinion. I must say, moral being is not one of use to believe the human mind is to only pass or fail, but learning from our mistakes as well. This was obviously a well-researched paper, but it's blog-type voice is extremely boring and aggrivating in the long run. It was interesting, but any persuasive elements that may have been sought in writing this paper was completely terrible, and in saying so, I do believe that evolution and distruction of any character's belief is an unspeakable and unimaginable mindset. The results of such victimism could be disastorous, and as such, I do not think the writer of this paper made a good point in making his/her point of view in the paper. I hope my perspective of this essay was helpful to you. If I may say so, as well: I don't think what you are trying to do is right. Plagiarism is bad, and you can get kicked out of a university from it. Just heed my warning, please, and take care. Good luck.

I just recieved this email, is it for real?
    Question:
The Rest Of the Story By Paul Harvey THIS IS AN EYE-OPENER! Conveniently Forgotten Facts. Back in 1969 a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black panther named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair. Once safely immobilized, his friends tortured him for hours by, among other things, pouring boiling water on him. When they got tired of torturing Rackley, Black Panther member, Warren Kimbro took Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley's body was later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of New Haven, Connecticut. Perhaps at this point you're curious as to what happened to these Black Panthers? In 1977 (only eight years later), only one of the killers was still in jail. The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed to get a scholarship to Harvard and became good friends with none other than Al Gore. He later became an assistant dean at an Eastern Connecticut State College. Isn't that something? As a '60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone's head and a few years later, in the same state, you can become an assistant college dean! Only in America! Erica Huggins was the woman who served the Panthers by boiling the water for Mr. Rackley's torture. Some years later Ms. Huggins was elected to a California School Board. How in the world do you think these killers got off so easily? Maybe it was in some part due to the efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers. These two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their trial. One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr. Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn't a college dean. He isn't a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the United States Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, appointed by none other than Bill Clinton. O.K., so who was the other Panther defender? Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No, neither! The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law student at Yale University at the time. She is now known as The "smartest woman in the world." She is none other than the Democratic senator from the State of New York---- our former First Lady, the incredible Hillary Rodham Clinton! And now, as Paul Harvey said; "You know the rest of the story". Remember this story when Hillary runs for Presidency of our great nation!
