Anyone know any good hang out spots on saturday nights in New York City?
    Question:
Im going out with my sister and like 14 other people for her B-day tomorrow night. We are undecided on where to go and need a place that allows people 18 and over in. Any ideas? Bowling ally? Arcade? pool? something that would be fun for everyone.

    Answer:
Try karaoke. i did it with about 18 people . They give you a private room, you pretty much have your own party in the room. We had so much fun. Google Karaoke in NYC call these place. You want to ask for private rooms. They usually cost $6 -$8 hr per person if that doesn't help look at mini golf in the Chelsea Pier or 300's bowling ally's they are everywhere. Good luck!!

I'm looking for a place to hang out or just chill with two of my friends. Arcades, cafes, large bookstores anything. It can be in Manhattan or the bronx. I know manhattan is where everything is anyway. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Answer:
You can always head over to a Starbucks. Also the Barnes & Nobles by Rockefeller Center. Or better yet....go downstairs in Rockefeller Center--this is where they have restaurants and shopping and you can sit by the Starbucks and hang out and watch the ice skaters. You can also head over to Dave & Busters on 42nd Street.

Why does everyone think New York is just city?
    Question:
I live in a very small town that is not marked on maps, and there is a lot of country in New York besides where I live. I live in Arcade, I hate how everyone thinks NY is just a city! My town is so small and old fashioned it is ridiculous. But I love it. I don't like the city part of it as much... I like the nature. I'm not allergic to anything out doors, but I'm allergic to cats, dogs, dust, mold, mildew, and gerbils and certain types of foods, so I would hate to see my allergies in a city, they are not very clean or ventilated. The country is so pretty. We get loaded with taxes. And I live in the town village, so we have to pay village taxes too. My family is broke. I go to buffalo very now and then to go to women and childrens hospital for allergy testing, prescriptions, and blood work. I don't like buffalo either... eww.

    Answer:
that sounds kind of ignorant if they can't look at a map and figure out that HUGEEE state next to a little line (the city) is just "city" time for them to go back to school! lol although i've never experienced that and can't relate I can tell you 1. "the city" is technically just manhattan not the other borroughs and 2. anything besides the borroughs (si, queens, bk, bx) is considered "upstate" to people who live in the city or other borroughs. LI remains on the fence lol they want to be a borrough, they're not "upstate" so we just refer to them as " out on the island" :)

What was the name of the 80`s arcade game where you rode a motorcycle across america?
    Question:
There were different stages where you went from city to city and i think you finished in New York, but i might have been wrong, it could`ve been the west coast somewhre?

    Answer:
"Hang-On" by Sega. Most versions had a set of handlebars on a cabinet, but the good ones had a fiberglass motorcycle you sat on and leaned left or right to turn. That game was way too hard--just like "Out-Run," Sega's car racing game in the same manner.

I will be in New York City for a week or two ..... what are some child friendly restaurants ?
    Question:
Im Looking for places like Chucky Cheese you know the whole arcade and lunch deal ... but i would have liked to find an alternative to Chucky Cheese's if possible Dosnt matter where the place is .... we will be renting a car , a website or location information would be nice :)

    Answer:
I don't know, but there is no reason to rent a car if you are staying in Manhattan. You will spend a fortune on parking. and your money will be wasted as you can get anywhere in Manhattan via public transportation. Also, the rental price of a car in Manhattan is 30% to 50% higher than in the suburbs. Only if you are planning a trip outside of the city will you need a car.

Are there any good campgrounds in eastern New York or Mass?
    Question:
We're looking to go somewhere new. We don't like the campgrounds with the emenities like the bands on Fri nights and the arcade rooms. We like to rough it more. We like big wooden sites that are big and not on top of eachother. We need water but not electric. We like to have water nearby, either river for rafting or a lake for fishing or swimming. Does anyone know of any woodsy private campgrounds? If you could give me a link or some way to get some info on it I would appreciate it. Thanks. Yes, I've been to Burlingame Park. That is the type of park we are looking. I forgot to mention that we wanted showers.

    Answer:
Burlingame State Park in Charlestown, Rhode Island.... My family and I have been going there for years. It's inexpensive, clean, HUGE, has a lake, playground, and is VERY close to area beaches, as well as a Walmart and grocery store.

Looking for a video game arcade in the Chicagoland area....?
    Question:
Hi, My son and I are looking for a video game arcade in the Chicagoland area that we could go to. We visited Nintendo World in New York 2 years ago and had a blast. Idealy, we would be looking for something like that. We have a Dave and Busters and also Chucky Cheese, however we are hoping there is something else out there to try out... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Have a great day!

    Answer:
There are also Jeepers locations in the Chicagoland area. They are similiar to Chucky Cheese's. I am not even sure if they have Little Ceasar's anymore, but that used to be a really popular place to go when I was growing up. You might want to try regular old arcades - there is a huge arcade in Gurnee Mills Mall that's pretty fun - it's right next to the ice skating rink. Gurnee Mills Mall is north of Chicago, close to Six Flags Great America. Most malls have an arcade. It depends where in the Chicagoland you reside, but I can think of a couple of local places right off the top of my head. I would recommend the Gurnee Mills arcade most.
