    You could go to the court house and look yourself, but that's probably the only way you'll get it for free. Not that I could do, but if I was an abstractor, why would I want to do it for a stranger for free? Call a title company.

    Answer:
    I see several problems (and no I can't do a title search). First off if this is worth something its worth it to Ed Queen or his heirs (are you an heir of his). Secondly, if he has not been paying taxes on the property in 75 years I guarantee its not his anymore. Lastly, if someone else has been claiming title to it and keeping it up (and paying taxes) for some amount of time (20 years where I live - no idea for New Mexico) then they can claim squatters rights and essentially say they own the place regardless of whether this deed would have any value. Long story short, its worthless assuming Mr Queen hasn't been paying taxes on it - don't waste to much time on this.
