I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico last Feb. and fell in love with one of the neckalces on these giant bill boards posted around the city. It was around Valentine's day, so they were everywhere. The store had sold out of the necklace I wanted, but said they'd be getting more in and gave me a card. I lost the card. Go figure. I need to know the name of the store, and if they still have those necklaces. To the best of my memory, there was a gold chain with a neat heart pendant.

Try "Mati" - That's the first one that pops to mind when you say billboard. They make custom jewelry, they are usually larger pieces using more obscure stones.

I know about the talin world market and shop there regularly for, but selection changes and is not always something you can rely on. I also am open to learn about other asian bakeries in the area. I know of a vietnamese one near talin market, their bakery selection is limited to say the least.

Welcome to the Duke City!!! Albuquerque is beautiful! Ok on to your question. I don't think you'll like the east side homes they look like they were built in the 1970s, on the west side of the city is where all the new houses are being build. As for schools Valley high school is one of the city's best and Taft middle is a great school too. Valley has a wonderful special ed program and New Mexico is a grate place to raise a family. What to see/do in and around Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico?

I'm going to be visiting Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico for a few days, and would like to hear some suggestions from previous visitors and locals on what to be sure to see and do there. Definitely include anything interesting and worthwhile in the surrounding area too, as a little driving (1-2 hour radius) is not a problem. If there are any particular cliff dwellings that are not to be missed, or that are better than the others, I'd love to hear about those, as well.

There are lots of things to do here in ABQ!!
Local: Museums, Zoo, Bowling, Dancing/Bars, Shopping (if you're into that sort of thing), Tingley - for fishing / picnicking, Concerts, Downtown scene, Amusement Park.
Around ABQ (1 hour drive): West: Bluewater - you can picnic, fish, boat; South: Escondido - picnic, fishing, hiking; East: Mountainair / Villanueva / Santa Rosa area: Fishing, boating, hiking, scenic bi-ways, visit ruins.
Around Santa Fe: Pecos / Toas (fishing, picnicking, hiking, camping); shopping. La Cienga: Visit ruins

What is the best way to travel from Albuquerque, New Mexico to La Paz, Mexico?

At first I wanted to drive down to San Diego and then down the Baja peninsula to La Paz. Then, a friend of mine mentioned that a better and shorter way is to drive to Mazatlan and then to take a ferryboat across to La Paz. In checking out the Atlas I can see that Mazatlan is quite a bit south of La Paz and that the ferry boat would be backtracking. Do you have some other suggestions for best routes from Albuquerque to La Paz?

Yes .... the ferry to take leaves from Topolombanpo near Los Mochis and only takes about 9 hours. The ferry from Mazatlan takes 18 hours.
The problem with taking the ferry is you need to register your car for mainland Mexico (money, time and paperwork) and the ferry costs about $100us for car plus a passenger fare of about $60

I have a Lutino female lovebird who needs a male mate. She has become lonely and we would like to get her a Blue Mask male mate but haven't been able to find a breeder in or around Albuquerque. She was hand fed and is very friendly so we dont want to get another one that wasnt raised the same way.

Be very careful about putting a new male in with her because females have been known to kill the males. The safest way to do it is to set 2 cages next to each other so the birds are seperated. give them a coule of weeks to get to know each other, then when you are ready, place the Female into the Male's cage, she should not become aggressive with him.

Where can a 4th degree felon find work? A job that pays good. The charge is 10 yrs old and was dropped 2 years ago, but it stays on my record.

If the charge was dropped and you were not convicted of a crime, it should not show up on a criminal records check. A deep background check would show the arrest and the fact that charges were dropped. If you were not convicted of anything, get an attorney and get that entry expunged. As far as employment, you'd have to list other skills besides a fourth degree felony.
