    Is there any alternatives to commuting to Jersey City from Clark, NJ, other than NJ Transit?

    That would be one hell of a commute. You would have to first drive to Linden RR station (pay $5 each day to park your car). Then, take the train to Newark Penn Station. Then, jump on the PATH train there to Jersey City. With the cost of fuel going up more and more each day, you're lucky to live in/near Jersey City. I actually wish I had a job there myself, so I can move there and not rely on my car anymore. Clark IS a very nice, quiet town. But it's too quiet. There's absolutely nothing to do there except go to the diner and Barnes&Noble. My advice is stay in an area with good public transportation. NJ Transit is the ONLY public transportation system in NJ. Academy Bus, Coach, etc.. are also owned by NJ Transit.

    Last night I had my Dallas Clark jersey signed by Dallas Clark (imagine that). He signed in permanent marker. My wife thinks that it is ruined because I won't be able to wear it and wash it because the signature will come off. Is there a way to wash it and still keep the signature? She bought it for me for a Christmas gift and wants me to wear it. Sorry for not clarifying that in my question.

    The signature will fade over time. You have a couple choices: Wear it, wash it, don't worry about it. Frame and keep it protected. Buy another one. Wear it on great occaision only, never wash it, and pray you don't dump hot nacho cheese or chili on it. I have the misfortune of owning an autographed Tatum Bell Bronco jeresey, and I just wear it. I do seem to fumble more, which is odd come to think of it...

    Modern Polaroids have always been powered by the internal batteries in their replaceable filmpacks. The Magic flash only requires a slight "jump" from the filmpack batteries to fire. I have an old SX-70 with leather cover panels that I haven't used in 30 years, but it was a great camera for what it was designed to do. Hope this helps.

    I applied with them as well and I got approved. I was told to send $400.00 via person to person to a Marco Mabilia in Victoria,Canada. I have yet to do it because I can't find them any where on the internet other than their website. I have also e-mailed the BBB in New Jersey.     I'm not sure about that, but I know that L'oreal gives out free samples at different cities. Go to the lorealusa.com website and you can find which cities they give them out at. I also know they have samples of L'oreal's True Match Foundation and it's blush, powder, concealer, etc. I haven't heard about the other L'oreal products.

    I live in central jersey - clark/scotch plains area. can anyone personally recommend a great, up-to-date dentist??? But don't dentists pay to be in 1800dentist? I feel like that is no different than looking one up in a phone book. I was hoping someone could give me firsthand recommendations.

    If you call 1 800 Dentist I think they give you a name of a reputable dentist. I havent done it but I see that they are careful about licensing and check any complaints.
