This is my FAVORITE sushi place. I've been to many sushi joints, but Nikkos takes the cake. The fish and food is always fresh and delicious. I love the atmosphere and the people who work there. They are all so sweet. I recommend Nikkos to anyone/everyone who loves sushi!

Piccolino's hands down is the best restaurant in Bayonne. Everyone is very friendly and attentive - making you feel at home. The food is simply amazing -great mussels, calamari and other special appetizers to start. I haven't had a main course that I didn't like - ever. If they don't have what you are looking for ask them. They always have specials which are different and very good. Decent wine list and full service bar. Parking good at night on Bayonne's main strip. Trust me - go in and give them a try just once and you'll be hooked. Ask for Louie who is the best host out there and tell him Matt sent you. You'll be back again and again.

Eat Rice, perhaps the finest Asian cuisine establishment in all of Bayonne, has been an excellent source of satisfying grub for the past 5-6 years. Their young, debonair owner, Wilson, has created dishes that cannot be found elsewhere. The atmosphere is quaint and, for a Chinese restaurant, somewhat refined, yet it remains friendly and inexpensive. Dishes such as "Honey Couple", a delicious meal consisting of honey-glazed beef and chicken, keep me coming back!

A good place for take out. If you are alergic to nuts please tell them wash the woks well. And most important, tell them you are alergic. The food is good quality and the Crab Ragoon is awesome. It's also one of the few places where you can see them cook your food. They have a big kitchen.

I LOVE this place! Best coffee, best hot chocolate and the best lava cake I've ever had! Unfortunately, I had to move out of state and there is nothing out here that comes close. If I had the money, I'd have moved Robert out here as well.

Don't expect to be in and out. Go to Angelina's and that table is your's for the evening. The dinners are made to order like at home. Order a coctail then an appetizer; enjoy!! It will take a while. Then when your meal comes out, eat as much of it as you can (it is alot) then have the rest wrapped for the next day. Order espresso and finish your wine while you wait. Let me recommend the stuffed artichokes.

We come here from time to time but we stopped in for dinner last night. We had the skirt steak dinner...approx $15 each - included salad or soup, veggies, potatoes, side dish, coffee and a huge piece of cake! The food was excellent, the waitress was a doll, the place is immaculate - it was a great stop. And for the price, it was perfect. I know there are new owners and the place was good before BUT it's fantastic now. There was too much for us to eat and I packed up the rest to take home (at $15 each?? could this really be??) If we go to any other restaurant, we'll pay much more with no leftovers and so-so food. We don't have money to burn and we like good food so this is gonna be a regular stop for us. Great place to get a burger or a gourment dinner without gourmet prices!

A former Bayonne native, my family and I often travel the 75 miles just for a Big Apple pizza- it's worth the long drive! The dining room is a big, open space with room for lots of customers. TVs in each corner of the room, always tuned to some sports event. It's a family place, and you might see at any time a family enjoying dinner, a little league team celebrating a victory, or couples enjoying an evening out. The service is usually good but can sometimes be slow. Even if your waitress doesn't respond as quickly as you'd like, however, you can always walk the 20 feet to the wait station and buttonhole her. I really can't complain about that though, since this is a real laid-back place with lots of local color. If you're in a big rush, go to a takeout place instead of a restaurant- enjoy the experience! But is the food which really makes this place special, especially the absolutely perfect thin crust pizza. It is without a doubt the best thin crust pizza in NJ. Crisp, light crust which gives a nice, oil-free "snap" when you fold the sliice; paper-thin slices cooked all the way through and topped with a delicious blend of cheeses and outstanding sauce. The chef here knows just how to blend these ingredients to make the perfect thin pizza. This style of pizza is what I call "Bayonne pizza", made famous by long-gone Bayonne joints such as EJ's, Brother's Tavern, Dido's and Chester's Tavern. Naples downtown and The Big Apple are the vestiges of a once-great thin pizza domain. Star Tavern is often mentioned as having the best thin pies, but over the last several years the pizza has become extremely oily, to the point where you could do a lube job on a Buick Roadmaster with the drippings. They've made a change at Star- I lived for 23 years near Star Tavern, and they ain't what they used to be. Oh yeah, the other (non-pizza) dishes at Big Apple are also good, so in case you go there with some (strange) people who DON'T want this delicious pizza, there's plenty on the menu to keep them occupied. Don't miss this superb pizza at the Big Apple!
