I'm talkin' seak, lobster, clam chowder, etc., not just a hamburger and fries. I'll be going North towards Barnegat Light.
I heard there is one just as you enter the Island. What is the name?
Answer:
I just love LBI!!!! The one restaurant we enjoy for seafood, and I can't remember the name either, is located right in front of you when you come across the bridge. Great seafood. It may be Ship Bottom Shellfish 13 th St, & Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom 494-0088
I have listed the other two that are also very good. There are many restuarants on the island. We basically check out the menus before going in.
If you want a really nice place to dine, try the Bayberry Inn 13th St. & Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom 494-8848

Fishing down the Jersey Shore??
Question:
I have an entire day planned out for my fiance and I to wake up early, go fishing probably at the Barnegat Lighthouse and then get a hotel room down in that area. Does anyone know where to buy bait around there? and early in the morning? and also, does anyone know when the gates to the lighthouse actually open? Also, does anyone know of a nice but not too expensive hotel in that area that's open this time of year?
We are going next Monday, May 5th to Barnegat Light, New Jersey, US.

there are bait shops all along route 35, i would use fresh clams, or squid this time of year.
