Questions Possibly Related to Bristol, New HampshireProvided By Y! Answers
Does anyone know of Byron or Esther Bristol? Question: I'm writing the biography of a man named Byron Bristol. He's 95 years old and lives in Arkansas. Mr. Bristol was born in North Dakota, moved around Michigan, New Hampshire, Boston, Massachusetts (he went to school at MassArt), and is married to Esther Boston Bristol. They also lived in Florida for some time in the 60's through early 80's and then moved to Northwest, Arkansas. If anyone knows anything about either of these people, please answer, it would be much appreciated.

Bristol Motor Speedway? Question: Who besides me would like to see the race at New Hampshire moved all of the chase for the championship & be replace with the Bristol night race.
Answer:
NH and Homestead should both be replaced in my view. Never really liked either one of those tracks and to use Homestead as a season end I always thought was a slap in a traditional face. Homestead??????
Bristol would be good. I personally think a road course should be put in the chase. They do 2 a year and for the most part always have. If you don't want a road course how about Darlington? I do have a problem with them making such a big deal about the chase and have NH as the opener and Homestead and the finally? Pretty funny stuff!

Which track is most likely to be in the Speedway Motorsports Inc. fold and lose a date to Kentucky Speedway? Question: a)Atlanta Motor Speedway
b)Bristol Motor Speedway
c)New Hampshire Motor Speedway
d)Pocono Raceway
e)other
i got this question out of Nascar Scene magazine, i added option e) to the question.
Answer:
If Bruton Smith buys Pocono then not only do I see Pocono losing one race they may lose both races and the track may have to be shut down. I see Bruton taking the June Pocono race to Kentucky and making it a compatablie weekend with the Nationwide Series. The 2nd Pocono date will be given to Las Vegas and somehow Las Vegas will be a chase race in the next year or two.

What races in NASCAR do you like or dislike.? Question: I think Daytona and Talladega go without saying.
Favorates: Pocono, Bristol, Darlington, Atlanta.
Good: Texas, Kansas, Chicagoland, Michigan, Vegas, California.
Take or leave: Dover, Indianapolis, New Hampshire.
Won't watch: Watkins Glen, Sanoma, Martinsville.
Answer:
That's amazing, your like and dislikes and all your favorites are the same as mine. Martinsville is to small but Bristol is so exciting. The cookie cutters are O.K. A track I have to admit I really like a lot is Darlinton. The track to tough to tame. If attendance doesn't improve there soon there is talk of not having any races there at all.

I need some help and advice about Art Colleges/Universities? Question: I am a Senior in High school and I'm looking to go into College as a Graphic Design and/or Photography major. I'm torn because I want to stay in the new England area (I'm not crazy about going TOO far). I have a large list of schools, but haven't been able to visit that many yet. I'm also torn because I'm not sure if I want to go to an ALL art school as opposed to just a college or university with a good art program.
Here are the schools I'm looking at:
Art Institute of Boston (Boston, MA)
Hampshire College (Amherst, MA)
Massachusetts College of Art (Boston, MA)
Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY)
RISD (Providence, RI)
Roger Williams University (Bristol, RI)
Salve Regina University (Newport, RI)
SUNY Purchase (Purchase, NY)
U Mass Dartmouth (N. Dartmouth, MA)
Emmanuel College (Boston, MA)
Lasell College (Newton, MA)
New England Institute of Art
Paier College of Art (CT)
University of Hartford (CT)
Does anyone have any suggestions on these? Does anyone go to one of these schools and has some advice for me? I've heard A LOT of good things about pratt, but i'm not crazy about being 4 hours away. I love RI but I know I will not get into RISD...not to mention it's so expensive and intense.
I just need some help. :P
Answer:
I would seriously consider Hampshire College. It is not that difficult to gain admissions to but a lof of people think it is in the same leage as Amherst and Mt. Holyoke because it is part of the same college consortium and the name sounds elitist. It is expensive though.

i would buy, TALLEDEGA AND A DIRT TRACK BUT IF I ONLY HAD ONE PICK.... I SAY DIRT TRACK... IT IS MY TRUE LOVE IN THE RACING WORLD... i love NASCAR but i love my good ol'dirt racing. more!!!!!!!!!!!
Dirt racing, because it is fun exciting, and the racing is better, more unpredictable!
tell me which one you would buy, best answer gets 10 points... dont forget to explain why you pick your race track!
THE PANTHERS FAN, WHAT QUESTION DO YOU WANT ME TO ANSWER!!!!!!!!?
Answer:
Pocono. I grew up in it and with the economy in such a poor shape it still sells out every single race while tracks like Daytona and Dega have suffered but I would listen to some fan feedback for changes. I would pursue the idea of increased banking in turns 1 and 3. I think this would speed up the race and attract some fans that have found it boring. I would never reduce the speed or the length though. And hey it has the biggest baddest restroom in the world.

Do you agree with Fred Thompson that Rudy Giuliani is an enemy of the 2nd Amendment? Question: BRISTOL, N.H. - Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson said Friday that New York City isn't a model for the rest of the country and that Rudy Giuliani should stop basing his stances on his time as that city's mayor.
Gun rights is a key issue among libertarian-leaning primary voters in New Hampshire.
"(Giuliani) simply supported just about every gun control legislation that came down the pike. I just disagree with him on that," Thompson said. "I saw he was at bill signing ceremonies with (New York Sen.) Chuck Schumer and President Clinton and others for gun control legislation over the years."
Thompson also said the Democrats would do everything they could to end gun rights.
"They were against gun rights for a long time and they paid for it at the polls," he said. "I don't think Americans think taking guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens makes for a safer America"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071123/ap_on_el_pr/thompso n_giuliani;_ylt=Aun0EHpInHzsn2mQnBNj1J6s0NUE
Answer:
No, I don't agree with his synopsis.
Rudy has been a proponent of tougher laws regarding gun purchases and made efforts to see illegal gun use meets with the strictest punishment under law.
I support his efforts. Legitimate and responsible gun owners can easily abide by the stricter laws and should support government efforts to keep guns out of reach of criminals.
However, that said, Rudy has nonetheless promised to appoint originalists and textualists to the Supreme Court who would stand behind the 2nd, as opposed to justices that would support the liberal social agenda.
I believe Rudy and also, that this is one area that though it has been brought up repeatedly, bears no reality in truth.

Answer:
London is extremely expensive, but fantastic for career opportunities.
Birmingham is an up and coming city, and it is said that it will rival London for job opportunities in the next ten years or so.
I live in Kent, and it has some nice universities. Very culturally rich, with the White Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury. Also, great location for frequent travellers.
