Questions Possibly Related to Dayton, MontanaProvided By Y! Answers
I'm traveling from West Virginia to Montana. What are some Cities I need to stop at? Question: This is my senior trip. I'm already planning on stopping at Dayton, Ohio, Chicago, Il, and Keystone, SD. What are some landmarks(like Mount Rushmore at Keystone) that I should stop at? I don't want them to be too much out of my way.
Answer:
It appears that you have one key stop, Mt Rushmore. But you may also want to include, depending upon your route:
The Badlands National Park (SD ) : http://www.nps.gov/archive/badl/exp/home.htm
The Devils Tower National Park (WY): http://www.nps.gov/deto/
Little Bighorn National Monument (MT): http://www.nps.gov/archive/libi/home.htm
Yellowstone National Park (WY) :http://www.nps.gov/yell/
If you are traveling along I-90 headed west you can pretty much catch all of these. Also if you are headed West you will see signs saying stop at "Wall Drug" and its worth a few minutes to make a rest stop there.
