Also Billings is in the FLAT part of Montana. Move to the Bitterroot valley. It snows but at least its pretty in the summer. Also a ranch is work. Get up feed the cows, or milk the cows, fix stuff, plant stuff, weed stuff, harvest stuff. Etc. There is ALWAYS stuff to do. A ranch is to be involved 100% of the time. I dont meant to be offensive.. but honestly.. check out a ranch.. before you say that.. The reality might not match your dream.

Sites to see on the way from Billings, Montana to Palm City, Florida? Question: My fiance and I are moving to Florida Next March and want to take our time a bit on the trip down and spend a couple of our taveling days site seeing or such. We prefer smaller towns and natureish sites to stop in. Any advice will be great! Thanks all!
The route we will be taking is basically the fastest google route from Billings, Montana to Palm City, Florida and we dont want to go to far off our path. Thanks!
Answer:
Just the sites in FL that are on your way I know of that are great are the Ft. White area springs and rivers (located between Lake City and Gainesville, FL). They are the most beautiful springs in this area for tubing, snorkeling, scuba diving (in caves if you desire), and just crystal clear swimming. You can rent canoes, kayaks, and tubes, camp, etc (see links below). It is famous around the world (because of the rivers and high magnitude springs).

where can I find a phonebook from billings montana 1956 1957?
Answer:
The special collections / local history room of the library is your best bet. If you can't visit in person, send the library a letter, on paper, with the name of the person or firm you want and a stamped, self-addressed envelope. A small donation doesn't hurt; $5 is what I usually send. If you CAN visit, you may find all sorts of good stuff - city directories, high school year books, manuscripts, centenial booklets . . .

Why should someone move to Billings,Montana?
Answer:
Ok, first off the Unibomber was not from anywhere near Billings!
Couple of reasons to move there... #1, it is the largest city in Montana, coming in at just over 100K people. It is only a few hours from Yellowstone, nice people, great hunting, fantastic fishing, beautiful women, snow (that could be a negative also), and fairly close to Canada. Also, good economy.
