City DescriptionFidelity is a village in Jasper County, Missouri, in the United States. The population was 252 at the 2000 census, at which time it was a town. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Fidelity is located at 37°4′42″N 94°18′44″W / 37.07833, -94.31222 (37.078350, -94.312165).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square miles (2.5 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 252 people, 97 households, and 64 families residing in the town. The population density was 260.5 people per square mile (100.3/km²). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 109.6/sq mi (42.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.43% White, 0.40% African American, 0.40% Asian, 1.19% from other races, and 1.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.19% of the population.
