I have been to The Anvil many times in the past. I called about a month ago to reserve an upstairs table for an informal meeting because in my past vistis the food has been good as well as the service. Last night however a completely different set of circumstances ocurred. The owner/manager was the rudest individual I have EVER encountered in a service setting. With his treatment I will nevergo back as well as encourage EVERYONE I know to take their business elsewhere in this very charming community.

I eat at Oscar's when I am in the area and I find it to be tasty, reliable & convenient. This is a "down-home" diner type of place so if you're looking for ambience, this isn't it. Otherwise, it sure does get the job done. :)
