    Blackburn is a city in Lafayette and Saline counties in the U.S. state of Missouri. The population was 284 at the 2000 census. Blackburn is located at 39°6′14″N 93°29′5″W / 39.10389°N 93.48472°W / 39.10389; -93.48472 (39.103980, -93.484771). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²), of which, 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²) of it is land and 3.12% is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 284 people, 106 households, and 76 families residing in the city. The population density was 923.4 people per square mile (353.7/km²). There were 126 housing units at an average density of 409.7/sq mi (156.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.77% White, 1.76% African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.35% Asian, and 1.76% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.11% of the population. There were 106 households out of which 34.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.3% were married couples living together, 4.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.3% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years
