Until last week I had not been to Hodak's Restaurant in close to 30 years. My recent return visit was good. I like the complete remodeling Hodak's has done to their restaurant. The food is about the same, good chicken, fries and I will say nobody mixes up coleslaw like Hodak's.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. Some members of our party were vegetarian and were told the the sides were, until they tasted them and found they were HAM based. The vegetarians asked specific questions before ordering and were given wrong information. The manager told us they would print ingredient lists to educate the entire staff, but made no offer of accommodations of any kind to the three vegetarians in our party to encourage a return. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I have to disagree with the other reviews. i had lasagna and it was not good. the sauces was fairly tasty but it was like tomato soup with noodles. the portion was quite small for the price. the bread they gave me was cold and i had no butter. the one bright spot in the meal was the house Italian dressing for the salad.

Amazing Pizza and Cheap Drinks. Stop in for a 3 mason jars of Budweiser and a large pizza. Where else can you get completely blitzed out of your mind and stuffed to the brim for under $20? No where my friend. No where!!!

This is one of those little hole in the wall places that has the best chinese food I have ever had. The fried rice and crab rangoon are the best there is and I have been to about every chinese restaurant in a 100 mile radius. Their home-made sweet and sour sauce rocks too! I live about 40 miles away and it is worth the trip to get this food. I have had better hot braised and general tsos, but the crab rangoon and fried rice can not be matched by anyone.

Best mexican food in city of St.louis. The food is GREAT and the service is good. There very polite to you.The prices are as good as the food. We love it so much sometimes we go as much as 3 times a week. If you haven't been it's a must go. We've been for family events and the whole family and friends love it also.

One of my favorites--not cheap but good for a chain. The crab cake sandwich is great--enough for two--as well as the crispy spicy beef. Be prepared to wait otherwise go a little before the lunch or dinner rush. Don't plan on eating dessert if you eat a meal--way to much. But you can get your cheesecake to go, otherwise go just for dessert and coffee.

A great spot for breakfast, lunch, meetings, or just a cup of whatever. I've introduced this place to many, many friends from North County and other parts of St. Louis as well. On average, I'm there at least twice a week. Sandwiches and salads are great; coffee drinks well made (even my sugar-free low-fat mochas!) and the place is child friendly with a toy corner to occupy little ones. (They are happy to fill a sippy cup for you!)

I went her with my husband in the summer and my husband had a sleeveless shirt on. He was asked to wear one of their t-shirts because men cannot have sleeveless shirts. This was not a tank top, a "wife beater", simply sleeveless. He put on the t-shirt and we were seated. After being seated I see at the table next to us a woman with not only sleeveless shirt on, but so low cut and revealing I could see most of her breasts! That was offensive. My husband and I are very clean, neat individuals with good personal hygiene. I told him I wanted to leave, why would I want to spend money in a place that discriminates. When we contacted the manager a few days later to tell him of this situation he basically said, too bad, that's our policy. The server and the hostess even said when giving us the shirt how "stupid" they thought this policy was. Women you can come in half naked if you want, but men make sure you are covered head to toe, neck to fingertips. This is not an inexpensive restaurant either. We left, went to the Outback Steakhouse just a little way from there, were welcomed in, had a wonderful, delicious dinner, and wasn't discrimated against or didn't have to look at the breasts of the woman sitting next to me either. I would not recommend this place at all, for any reason, for anytime!

Marvelous dinner service- 4 stars. Avoid the $7.99 lunch buffet (inexpensive ingredients...CHEESE....runny sauce, poor selection)- think low budget Chucke Cheeze for lunch- 2 stars. Again, dinner service is elegant, good selection, great food and marvelous atmosphere. Too bad they whored themselves with a lousy buffet.

This particular Ihop has the best service of any restaurant I have been to in years. It's the only restaurant left in Florissant that I can go to without worrying if I will have a nice experience or not! If I could give it 6 stars, I would!!! Oh, and the food is wonderful.

The Best! Great St. Louis style thin crust pizza. The toppings are tasty and generous. As mentioned in another review, the Special is especially good (our favorite) . . . but the basic pizza sauce and cheese used make any choice at Faraci's a sure bet. Call ahead for take out because the word is spreading, and they take the time to make a great pie . . . 20-40 minutes is typical. Or, run up the street one block North to Marley's (new name & owners of what was formerly The Greek's) and have a beer while you wait for the order.
