Food is plentiful and reasonably priced. When a meal for two easily costs over $40.00 at a city restaurant maggies menu items can be under $20.00 for two consistently. They have daily specials with 3 sides buffets on weekends. The help has improved dramatically over the last several months with the professionalism of the waittresses much improved over the previous owner. One of the last true "Homestyle" restaurants left on I70. The owners are normally always on site unlike the previous owner who had several family issues to deal with in addition to running a restaurant. Furthermore if you have an issue I guarantee you will get satisfaction. Plus the local charm and small town atmosphere is great to just listen to sometimes. Along I70 at Hiway 19 next to Mc Donalds.

My suggestion is to take a few minutes and eat next door at Maggies. McDonalds at this site is the worst I have ever been to in the country. We received our order after a ten minute wait in the drive thru and it was wrong through and through I asked for my money back which took another ten minutes. Went to maggies Cafe next door spent less time and money of 4 1/4 real meat hamburgers for $2.00 more than Mc Donalds. I found out later this McDonalds posts the managers number so you don't talk to the "real" McDonalds people that track quality concerns for franchises. I cannot emphasize how much this Mcdonalds sucks and I cannot emphasize enough how much better I fwelt after eating at Maggies Friends.
