When we pulled up outside we were hesitant,but when we entered,the inside made us feel comfortable. We were impressed by the neat table appearances and the friendly staff. We were there on a Saturday nite and altho is was fairly busy we did not have to wait . The specials were Baby back Ribs and 16oz Porterhouse. I had the full slab of ribs and my wife had the Porterhouse. I finished mine but she had a doggy bag. The food was done just right and the bar drinks were very good.I am going to return every time we are in the area. Good food and a great value.

The food is to die for and if that isn't enough, the view is will impress anyone!!! They arrange for an awesome sunset every evening and dining is available on the magnificent deck when weather allows. Weekends are exceptionally grand with live entertainment on the deck, or inside, depending on the weather. Jason, the owner, makes all the soups, salad dressings, and desserts from scratch, and all the recipes are one of a kind ,created by Jason and prepared by the best cooks on earth. The menu is outstanding! The seafood is top of the line, from fried or broiled lobster to the most succulent fish entrees you will ever taste. Steaks and prime rib are real crowd please-rs, and men flock to the signature steak, a 20 oz. bone in Rib Eye, yum!! If dessert is your thing then you must try "The Trailhouse" creme brule. For brule lovers, this is a Must Do, you won't be disappointed.

We had supper (Nov 7, 2006) there and thoroughly enjoyed one of the best meals we've had in a long time. My wife and myself had the fried chicken. Hardly a hint of grease and extremely tender with a nice crunchy crust, yummmo! The sides were mashed potatoes, gravy, noodles, green beans w/ham, salad bar & rolls. Everything was home made and served family style with refills offered on everything. For desert we had the caramel apple pie. This is worth the drive! This restaurant is "no frills" true to Mennonite/Amish tradition but that actually adds to the experience. Lot's of love and care goes into this cooking and you can tast it in every bite. .

The restaurant has been recently renovated and is much nicer than before. The workers there are friendly and the prices are good. It's also now a smoke-free restaurant and that is nice for us non-smokers. My wife and I eat there regularly and highly recommend it.
