This small, out-of-the-way cafe serves up the best breakfast in the county. The shining star of the menu is the gravy. This is NOT some reheated pepper gravy mix that you find in most restaurants. The owner makes his every morning, and you will not find a better breakfast gravy anywhere. If you find yourself in the area in the morning, you gotta try it.

They have a birthday club that gives us a free steak, so my wife and her parents go there when we have birthdays and pay for the other that is not having a birthday that month. They have really good, mouth-watering steaks that are well-seasoned. The owner also plays positive country music and sings for entertainment. He is very professional and does a good job. Even though they do serve drinks with meals, it is not a bar. It is high-quality food combined with high-quality entertainment and I would not hesitate to bring my child there. You do not have to worry about what kind of music they will hear. He even let a little girl sing last time we were there and it was really good fun.

We have eaten at the Lakehouse a few times. I highly recommend the atomsphere and the prime rib and the cheesecake. I haven't liked anything else that I have eaten there, but the prime is definitely worth the trip.
