Best place in St. Joe hands down. The wait staff are friendly, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is the perfect setting to enjoy some cajun cookin'. Drinks are somewhat overpriced, but you would expect it at a restaurant of that caliber. Will keep going back there every time i go to Joetown to gamble on the boat!

Not authentic at all. Decent atmosphere, the food was better than an older Mexican Restaurant in town, but not fantastic. I would not suggest Palmas if I had the say in where to go, but I would not refuse to eat here again if a friend really wanted to. It would not be my first choice. The salsa bar was fun and the staff was very nice.

this is by far the best mexican food i've ever had. the service is always great and the food arrives fast, but watch out for the "hot plate"... man, i love this place! i think i'm going to ditch work and get a tall bud light and some cheese dip!

TIRED OF THE CHEAP BUFFETS WITH NO FLAVOR? I travel all over the country and I have to admit that this is by far my favorite Oriental Cuisine Restaurant! The Egg Flower soup is nice and thick with great flavor. The crab ragoon is full, creamy and always fresh it seems. I have yet to see another restaurant prepare Peking Shrimp any Better! If you are a fan of Oriental Food, you must check it out. the atmosphere is always pleasant. It's probably the best kept secret in St. Joseph.

I spent this past weekend in St. Jo and decided to check this out despite the mixed reviews. I decided to give it a thorough taste and got the chips and salsa, the sampler platter and a margarita. Out of everything I tried I thought the margarita was the pretty good, the salsa was good(but not the chips) and the tacos were pretty good. everything was deep fried and covered with american cheese except the bland tamale. If you are passing through and decide to try this place out expect to pay out your nose and be pretty unimpressed.

I have just recently started going to Ground Round and am actually wishing I would have started coming here sooner. They have French Onion soup that is about the best in town and I have never had a bad meal there. The burgers are excellent and as a side, you can have all you can eat popcorn. . . Service is good as well.

Good selection of dishes, hearty portions, and always with good flavor! My mainstay order is the T2, which is a seasoned Ribeye Steak, comes with choices of potato, I prefer the loaded mashed potatoes. Choice of Soup or Salad, and here is where i get what I consider there top draw...the Cream of Potato Soup! Nothing can touch it! Eevn if you want a salad, I'd still recommend getting the soup as well. It comes with a cup as part of your meal, but you can upgrade it to a bowl! I ALWAYS do! Matter of fact, there has been many a time that I've gone here simply for the soup. If you like soups at all, you will be hooked after trying this. One complaint..if you like your meat well done, you really have to stress that, and even then you may have to have them try it again! But to be fair, this seems to be the norm at many a restaraunts.

Well being from Texas perhaps I have a different view on Mexican food. Although the food was tasty. It seems to be tamed down some. Instead of using a topping like melted grated cheese it is a "sauce cheese". Not bad but not what I would call excellent. Now the service and people were friendly and it was very enjoyable. I am still searching for that perfect Mexican joint in St Joe.

appetizer I like the appetizers, the dinners could be better. The service needs to be upgraded, my server was fine, however another server was complaining about her life the whole time I was there. I guess I have been just spoiled by the chain restrants, where the servers greet you with a smile and make your time there as pleasent as possible....
