City DescriptionWilmont is a city in Nobles County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 332 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (3.0 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 332 people, 142 households, and 93 families residing in the city. The population density was 291.4 people per square mile (112.4/km²). There were 155 housing units at an average density of 136.0/sq mi (52.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.40% White, 0.30% Native American, and 0.30% from two or more races.
There were 142 households out of which 28.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.4% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.5% were non-families. 28.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 2.87.
