City DescriptionQuamba is a city in Kanabec County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 98 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²), all of it land.
Minnesota State Highway 23 serves as a main route in the community.
As of the census of 2000, there were 98 people, 33 households, and 26 families residing in the city. The population density was 133.6 people per square mile (51.8/km²). There were 38 housing units at an average density of 51.8/sq mi (20.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.96% White, and 2.04% from two or more races.
There were 33 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.5% were married couples living together, 15.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.2% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.97 and the average family size was 3.31.
