City DescriptionPillager is a city in Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 420 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²), of which, 0.6 square miles (1.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (4.48%) is water.
Minnesota State Highway 210 and County 1 are two of the main routes in the community.
As of the census of 2000, there were 420 people, 167 households, and 106 families residing in the city. The population density was 655.3 people per square mile (253.4/km²). There were 181 housing units at an average density of 282.4/sq mi (109.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.38% White, 1.43% Native American, 0.95% Asian, and 0.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.48% of the population.
There were 167 households out of which 35.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.3% were married couples living together, 10.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.5% were non-families. 28.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.2% had someone living alone ...
