City Description

Lake Henry is a city in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 90 at the 2000 census. It is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area. Minnesota State Highway 4 serves as a main arterial route in the community. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.4 km²), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 90 people, 42 households, and 19 families residing in the city. The population density was 649.0 people per square mile (248.2/km²). There were 43 housing units at an average density of 310.1/sq mi (118.6/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White. There were 42 households out of which 23.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.2% were married couples living together, and 52.4% were non-families. 47.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 26.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.14 and the average family size was 3.20. In the city the population was spread out with 27.8% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 31.1% from 25 to 44, 14.4% from 45 to 64, and 21.1% who were 65 years of age or
